Did you make a point ? Are you sure ?

I'm sure you are seeking to deflect so simple question...do you support spams jokes about the appalling injuries suffered by Simon Westwon in the Falklands

I think taking the p out of someone who suffered terrible burns whilst in the forces during the falklands is not subtle...but no doubt you see it as funny
I am sure Mr Weston is mightily relieved that a person of your undoubted standing is becoming offended on his behalf.

I can't recall the exact joke, it's probably been deleted now, but it was something about not having a face & he happened to be the first noteable faceless person that sprung to mind.

& Yes, it was funny.

I didn't see WS make a joke of that nature but in general I find no humour in those types of joke. Does that answer your question ?

Wait, no, I think it was about losing face.

I could have used the name of any noteable person who had lost their face, he happened to be the one that came to mind.

Fear of losing face......like Simon Weston.

Does that really make me a bad person?

poison being very apt....and the fact you do not condemn that type of joke speaks volumes about you and is not surprising

It was a simple one liner dave with the crux of the joke being a different interpretation of the phrase losing face.

It wasn't  ' ha ha that Simon Weston bloke suffered serious facial injuries, isn't that hilarious in it's own merit.'

It probably rules you out too as you appear to be using WS comment merely as a device somewhat in mock indignation to support another issue rather than Mr Weston's injuries.

I saw no complaints about the Oscar Pistorious 'not a leg to stand on' gags.
