Depends on what you mean by ghouls tours.

I have a guest flying in from another part of Europe in about 10 days time.  At the moment I think there is a minor interest in Madeleine, and a major interest in simply getting some sunshine in.  I am pleased to say it has been weather that would grace British summertime for the last two days here.

It is up to this guest to decide what is on the agenda.  Lots of Madeleine v little of Madeleine.  Lots of zipping around Luz v little of zipping around Luz.  Lots of activity v lots of relaxing.  I am not the one to make the choices.

If you wish to come out to Luz, please let me know.  I am not sure that I can arrange a ghouls tour.  But if that is uppermost in your mind, I will see what I can do.

Excellent photo.  I believe Sadie has said that the stair and patio were well lit at the time of Madeleine's disappearance.

What do you think of the temperature of the lighting? It looks very intense and very white ... could it be from lighting set up by a media crew ... or is that it as it was?

The GNR officer has but a single shadow, so any light source or light sources are in a single position.

This is just the normal lighting at the time.  Photographed by someone who could take photos after dark.  The very whiteness is just because the building and walls were whitewashed.

IMO.

It's interesting that we are now back to the round globe street lighting as seen in this more recent Google Street View picture from February 2015.   Gas tank at block 6 and floodlight mounted on block 5 can also be seen.

No, I think there is something rather distasteful about people who choose to holiday in the place because of the Madeleine McCann case.  It would literally be the last place on earth I would ever want to take my kids.  I would feel ashamed to do so, quite frankly, but maybe it's just me.

I'm in total agreement........ I would find it a very sad place to visit and I would be angry if the nastiness we are led to believe exists there against the McCanns was expressed......
There are far better places to holiday than tainted Luz
