I find it ridiculous that any criminal gang would go to such trouble to adduct a rather ordinary young English girl who was not in any way different from many other young blonde girls on holiday that week in Luz. Don't you ?
You could say the same about any child stolen to order.  Most would fall into the category of "rather ordinary", unless you are suggesting that children who are abducted by criminal(s) are somehow more special than most other children?

Seems this in now sorting the posters into a new bag, where McCann supporter is equating to Luz [ censored word ].

Tainted Luz?  That comment is both cheap and nasty.

I remember the song.

Neither of you probably understand what the balance of probabilities mean

Oh I do, and it is quite obvious you don't.

TBH apart from a kidnap for ransom I have never heard of a child stolen to order. Have you ?

The Met obviously considered it a real possibility.

It's amazing what you can get on the internet these days...seriously a highly unlikely occurance unless sorted out long before they arrived, in which case.....

Is there any possibility, in your opinion, that Tannerman was the abductor?

Yes.

Yes.

Ah, yet again, the mythical unproven abductor.

That would fit the times certainly but why risk walking all the way down town?

Maybe because he knew a safe place there, maybe because down town is the seashore, maybe ... How many people did the Smiths find in the street besides Smithman? How many people did the couple who left an apartment near 5A at 21:58 see in the street? I think the streets was not "full of people" at 22:00 that cold night.

Check your facts Heriberto, they are out of date.
