I have yet to read any theory involving the McCanns  which is remotely comprehensive. IMO .

Because it would be libellous without proof. Unlike alleged abductors who are fair game unless identified.

Such theories could be posted in the private area of the forum.
I haven't read any there which are remotely comprehensive.

IMO there isn’t a level of trust on here to allow a free exchange of ideas even in the Private area.

There are many theories, and it takes a lot of effort to come to a comprehensive theory.  I'd like to see more discussion on theories not less TBH.

The problem with 'theories' in my opinion is that many of them suggest connections between this and that when there's no evidence that a connection exists. 'Theory' is just another word for guessing, speculating and assuming. Like the abduction theory, for example.

Good post.

Thanks. Trying to create a theory which explains everything is doomed to fail, I think. I'm not 'Deep Thought', so I limit myself to examining specific events and theorising about how and why they occurred. It takes a lot of effort to just do that. It took a few days for SIL and I to discover how the creches above main reception were accessed, for example. Now we know that visiting one of those places doesn't involve visiting both of them.

Sadie has her theories which she is entitled to share with us but it would be nice once in a while if she could provide some sort of evidence that SY or anyone else for that matter is taking it seriously.  I am perfectly willing to assist in this.

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.

I for one would be happy to hear it. It just never happens.

You could have been describing Amaral's theory there.

Have you ever thought of launching a rescue attempt if you know where Madeleine is ? Be a shame not to stop her suffering if you can. I’m sure you’d get support from supporters on here who are all as eager to find her as you.
I believe that I know where she was in 2012, which means that she was abducted.
