Yet another mother had a weird experience when her daughter was removed from inside a children's supervised play area and found in the company of a woman some distance away.
The police, although "kind and sympathetic" were unable to do anything to assist because the child 'had not been physically harmed and was safely returned'.

There seems to be a vested interest in denial in tourist areas when something untoward happens which might affect the industry adversely.
Sadie's theory outlines instances which have been played down as irrelevancies and which may have influenced the conduct of Madeleine's case.
This ranges from unsolved disappearances of children in Portugal not just from the Algarve but throughout. It includes the death of Jacinta Reeves who the police said had committed suicide by battering herself repeatedly on the head with a hatchet. It includes the disappearance of Joana Cipriano whose mother is still in jail serving time for her murder, and the similarities between Joana's case and Madeleine's.
There is much more than that simply because Sadie has spent many years researching it all and it is serious stuff in many instances. Rather than the usual 'put downs' it would be more interesting to discuss Sadie's theory with more of an open mind because in my opinion that is what Sadie used when outlining her thoughts.
However at the very least it is my opinion that much of what she says is being taken very seriously indeed ... or else why the concerted effort at debunking it?
