This is getting ridiculous.

Burglaries happen all over the world.

Besides,. it was never Mark Warner's responsibility to look after the mccanns children.

They had a duty of care to all their guests ... there is no evidence that guests were warned about burglars active in the immediate area.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

There was evidence found on the window and tampering of the crime scene.

Thank you, Pathfinder.  Ever fair, as usual.

My experience of holiday resorts was that you get briefed at the welcome meeting as to local services and what to beware of etc...   No doubt this happened when the McCanns and their friends attended this initial get together up at the Millennium.  They were probably given the usual platitudes relating to security and safety.  Staff were in all likelihood warned not to say anything about burglars or break-ins for fear of alarming guests to the extent they might seek alternative accommodation and seek refunds.

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.

You were a policeman John.

Now would you say, where ever you go in the world there is a danger of being burgled ?

There was evidence found on the window and tampering of the crime scene.

There was evidence that one legitimate occupant of the apartment had left fingerprints on the glass ... there was evidence that another with a legitimate reason for being there had left a print on a glass door ... there was also evidence that another person there legitimately had cut himself on a tile.

What was the cunning plan associated with tampering with the crime scene by lowering and closing the shutter after going to all the trouble of jemmying sorry ~ 'staging' the scene by raising it?

I would say that depends on the location.  For example, I have spent a lot of time in The Gambia, West Africa and Kenya in East Africa as well as in Spain and several Mediterranean resorts.  I would expect to be burgled in Africa but not to the same extent in Portugal or Spain.  That said however I was a target for gypsy pickpockets in Fuengirola, Spain, which never happened in Africa.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/04/28/madeleine-mccann-abducted-during-botched-burglary/

The telegraph retreading The Sun article.
The subtitle should have been "How Many Beans Make Five" How Many Suspects Make Three. In which we learn how many contradictory remarks we can put into one short article.
"Police believe the man who drove a tourist bus for the Mark Warner complex was also working with a 16-year-old and two other men. [That makes 4]
Now British police want to quiz the three suspects further, having already questioned them previously.

The three men have been declared suspects by Portuguese police who arrested them on the request of British police but they have been released.
But detectives have made no arrests despite investigating 60 people of interest and taking over 1,300 statements.

The Sun reports this line of enquiry may be that lead, but that police were privately frustrated with the Portuguese authorities’ refusal to let them follow up on it.
One told The Sun: “It has dogged the investigation all the way through and it's happening again.

Scotland Yard said: “It’s not something we would discuss.”

The mccanns have demonstrated quite adequately, they made many mistakes.

Would you say that is not a good impression  to give especially by Drs. ?

I have never been burgled here.  And I frequently don't lock my doors, day or night.  And never when I go out.
