What does that mean ?
It seems that if the Mccanns had a strong alibi that might be considered proof of innocence, but when a parent goes to check on their kids alone, that moment is an unsupported alibi OK it is for a few minutes at the most, but do they really think it is possible to commit the crime in those time intervals?

It doesn't actually mean anything.
It is unprecedented.
Because it is meaningless.

A meaningless presumption too.

An erroneous judgement.

Do you seriously imagine that the Mail would run with this headline, if they still feared litigation from the Mccann's ?

There is nothing damaging in the headline, as I said it is meaningless.

From a moderation point of view while saying that the Court has said that they were not declared innocent is ok, there is no suggestion of guilt involved and any such suggestion will be suitably moderated.

Plus one.

It was Amaral's opinion MM was dead.  But there is no proof.  So his opinion is not fact.
