Thank you Eleanor.

I hope you will accept that you cannot post that the statements in the files are accurate as we have no way of checking them
You will need to say.. In your opinion they are accurate

i think john rightly  wants  an open minded forum  and he thinks abduction shouldnt be mentioned just  what  i think because  there is no evidence of  abduction

Even when two police forces think there is a pigeon hold where an abduction could have taken place?   The fact that a child is missing and hasn't been found is evidence of abduction.

How can you say there is no evidence unless you are privy to all the information which NSY and the PJ have.
You should not be saying "there is no evidence of abduction".

How so? evidence of a missing child presumed abducted according to some is more accurate surely.

How Madeleine disappeared from the apartment is undetermined, and likewise her fate.

There are 3 main theories, none of which have been proven or disproven.

SY in the form of Redwood, promised a full and open review. that never happened.

Mark Rowley also said that the investigation into the McCann's was done by the Portuguese and that it was done and dusted that they didn't want rumours going around that they were investigating the McCann's.   THEN he went on to say the McCann's were parents of a missing child,   however Madeleine left the apartment she was abducted.   So what do you think he means?    Parents of a missing child,  seems to say that she is still missing that the McCann's have done nothing.    The options could mean that they don't know where she is or whether she is dead or alive,   not that the option of the McCann's being involved.

Anyway as to the abductor argument,  what is wrong with the 'In my opinion'   quote as it is what we have been doing for a long time.

As John has said, as have others.

What Rowley said is full of contradictions.

For a very simple reason, he doesn't know what happened.

abduction would  be   at the bottom of the list of most police   forces  around the world i would  think    childrens abductions are    like  90%   usally  parental  abduction  IE  custody battles  etc

Under the new rules are you allowed to say that a full and open review has never happened?

Or we could just add 'in my opinion,  IMO'   couldn't we?

I am not sure.  It probably depends on the content of the comment.

I don't think "Madeleine was abducted, in my opinion" quite cuts the mustard.

But "I think Madeleine might have been abducted" probably would.

Nor is there evidence of an accident, or death.  So bear that in mind as well.

When it comes to expressing opinions of the Mccanns, then the same rules apply to others.

If and its looks as if it was done to the letter of the remit then it was full and open in only treating as if it was an abduction, what is clear all the resources available costing upward of £12 million only eliminates people.
