Are you being serious? This site is a protect the parents site just in case you missed that misty. The behaviour of those I have mentioned should have done nothing because what they did achieve was the same as doing nothing = nothing, only difference they ALL made money.

If they had all done nothing this forum topic would not exist & Madeleine would have been banished to the same obscurity as other missing children previously were.
Spare a thought for the deceased Charlie Gard's parents & those who have made money a-plenty from their fight for a cause - did they achieve nothing?

There are a few more I would like to add but I am not of a mind to provoke outrage.

The judge was pretty caustic about those on social media who have an opinion on everything without the benefit of being in posession of the full facts. I'll go with the judge.

... the question of who speaks for those who have no voice has been raised, once again.
There are those who believe Amaral spoke for Madeleine when he decreed that her parents had covered up her death & he felt it was his role to bring them to justice. Why would you deny the parents the same right to be Madeleine's voice to counter Amaral's claims? Why would you deny them the right to legally counter anyone who has pre-determined & promoted Madeleine's fate without a shred of evidence?

If the judge & hospital felt they had ultimate power in Charlie's destiny they should have turned off the life support months ago instead of entertaining prolonged legal challenges - or at least let the parents take Charlie to the USA where his fate would no longer be their problem. Their procrastination led to the social media issues & ultimately, an undignified final few hours in Charlie's life.

So you blame the Judge and GOSH ?
Maybe the Judge and GOSH were obliged to follow a defined protocol ?
The whole thing became an undignified circus with Septic* Pro Life organisations "bussing in" from 3000+ miles away. Social media issues were created by those on social media. Those people are responsible for their
own actions and no amount of claptrap can abnegate their personal responsibilities in that respect.

The search for Madeleine please.

I think words like 'power' and 'procrastination' are unwarranted. Most of the time GOSH manages to work with relatives without any need for legal intervention. In this case they were unable to do so. There are links to the various court judgements here, as well as other info;

Supposing that Operation Grange know who stole Madeleine, who she was passed on to and the direction in which she was taken, how would they manage to retrieve her?
First they would have to find her exact location.

In this day and age it is not possible to just snatch back an abducted child, especially if OG have no DNA proof.  This could be hard to come by as no supposed parent is legally obliged to provide DNA, and would almost certainly move on if they thought that they had been discovered.  So they would have to be watched unobtrusively.

This is a theory of mine.  And I am more than happy to have it debunked, if this is possible.

Most countries have undercover policemen. Getting DNA from a girl of 14 should be possible. With a match the countries authorities could swoop.

Good point, G-Unit, I have thought around this a bit, but mainly I have been thinking of reasons for why a country with no extradition would be reluctant to cooperate.

It wouldn't be that easy to obtain DNA without alerting someone or involving a third party which could result in the child being moved.

Which country do you think she is in...

There are 33 countries with which Britain does not have an extradition agreement: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Bhutan, Cameroon, China, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Ethiopia, Georgia, Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, Mongolia, Namibia, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, UAE, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Venezuela and Yemen.
