Well we have been given one of the job sheet notes from two inspectors the very next day.  They had their names deleted from the document for some reason.  Had we seen more of these immediate reaction quotes we might be able to see why Amaral came to that conclusion, but later as John has pointed out and it could be true for it requires study the statements later have less detail and appear coached to some degree.
Why would their names be protected?
They had their names deleted from the document for some reason ?  Jeez, I wonder why?

I can imagine tho' but then .... I might be wrong.

Smelling fishy to me.  What do others think?

Could be.  This is all I know at present "REPORT OF EXTERNAL WORK [Investigation Activity]
Date: 2007/05/04 Location: Praia da Luz
Entity that determined the activity: superiorly determined
Funcionario [employee] that executed it: Miguel P*** and Duarte F****, Inspector"

Why were the **** used in this case?  Was it just that their names were not readable?
The names are clear enough in the attached originals

It still doesn't explain why the translators blanked their full names out.

The lesson is look properly before you make a statement. What I find strange is that they don't seem to know what a rasta hairstyle is. I thought it involved dreadlocks but the man they decided was the one seen by Wilkins didn't have them. Balu and Berry also mentioned a man with dreadlocks. Wilkins' man was blond, the other was described as having grey hair. Were two men with dreadlocks around that night?

Didn't they get to speak to Wilkins again before he left?
