It won't cost the price of a book to print that book. There will be a profit involved.

Only if it sells well. Don't suppose there will be advance royalties.

If you donate the price of a book for sale it won't cost that much to print it.

True. Do you have a problem with enterprise and profit?

Not if one is paying for it oneself.

Absolutely no problem with it at all as long as there is honesty......don't like people claiming honourable reasons for writing a book when the real reason is to profit

As this guy has allegedly had no involvement with the McCanns or their missing daughter, it will be interesting so see why he came to the attention of the police.

One can never say never until you have an admission of guilt, but certainly no longer of interest - except perhaps to those who would like to shift the blame.

Try going to Kickstarter, and use the button to start up a project.

You will be asked for certain details.  Amongst them a valid bank account, and your permanent country of residence (PCR).  Neither Portugal nor Russia are accepted as PCRs.  So someone, presumably Dmitry, has a valid bank account in a PCR that Kickstarter accepts.
