I would thought you would have realized by now, what I have already seen online and the support he received, before his criminal conviction, has supplied the relevant info, and Alice was effectively saying the same.

I.M.O. of course.

So what are you saying exactly?    People supported him when he was an avid pro McCann on the internet.   So what?   That doesn't mean a thing.   No one was to know what he did in secret.   Though you profess that you and others had thoughts about him before his conviction,  how I don't know,   everyone was shocked so you weren't is that what you are saying?   Explain why.

I read some of his blogs,  insults and libel of other people.

Didn't you ?

It would suggest to me that they may very well be of a similar mindset.
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

What do you mean by that?

Didn't you ?

So by reading his blog you were able to ascertain he was viewing obscene photo's?   How?

If you've seen his blogs, you'll know what I mean- nasty, vindictive and ugly on the inside.

His blog just showed him arguing with anti's nothing else.  You are aware there are anti's who used the same sort of language are you?

I didn't say that, and I wasn't referring to his conviction. so don't put words in my mouth.

I said I formed my view of him from what he did and his internet activity.

Then maybe they share a similar personality.

I dont think anyone should be allowed to hide behind a pseudonym on the internet and get away with abusing others.  If people were forced legally to use their real names most of this dreadful abuse would disappear instantly IMHO.

ETA. A further reminder guys to play nicely.  TY

I agree with that, John, I think it would make the internet a much better experience for all ... but I think there would still be people who would find ways to get round it or even find different methods to abuse others utilising their identities.

There already is an area of the internet ... it has a name which escapes me for the moment ... which is used to communicate and share images such as that under discussion.
I think the time is long overdue for internet providers to take some of the responsibility for what goes on using the services provided by them and help the police to cut them off at source or at least to make it more difficult for them.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

You said: "I said I formed my view of him from what he did and his internet activity."

I won't put 'words into your mouth' but perhaps taking a bit more care of how you phrase your comments might remove the temptation.

In my opinion ... it is impossible for one individual to determine anything about another individual using your criteria.

The nearest and dearest of perps who live under the same roof very often know nothing of what is going on ... so how can you?

I wasn't shocked, why would I be? I might have been if I knew him and had an opinion about his character, but I didn't.

Having looked at how he behaved on the internet he wasn't the kind of poster I would have wanted to read, let alone support or get to know.  My description of him would be probably be rabid rather than avid pro McCann. Attack is the best form of defence comes to mind.

I can describe quite a few of anti's in the same manner.
