There was certainly a reward in the event of finding her alive, but that was ages ago. I don't recall any other reward.

You should be applauded for setting up this initiative Rob but I am not convinced that a crowd fund page is the answer. That said, there are indeed many things which do need checked out in and around Praia da Luz and especially additional photos taken etc...  I had hoped to have found the time to research some of this myself on the ground but unfortunately other priorities took precedence.

You should probably create a list at the bottom of your opening post.

We will promote this campaign on twitter and facebook for you which should help.

Not that many donations as yet (zero)  Where is yours?  Have you tried to make a donation yet?  I know I had to set up a PayPal account, so is that the same for contributors?  Do donors also have to have a PayPal account?  Could you check that for me please?

You aim to solve the McCann case but you can't work out how your own funding appeal works..... I haven't contributed because, I think your trip is totally pointless

There has been a lot to learn.   There is a lot of planning to consider before I head out there.

As I said I dont see what you can add to the investigation...sil has lived in pdl and has come up with nothing..all your questions seem to be checking the parents account of things ..SY and the PJ will have done that...if you want to go its up to you but I dont see why others would want to fund you

The trip from NZ to Praia da Luz and staying there will be over 10,000 NZ dollars. In other words even if I get some donations most of it will be out of my pocket too!

You don't seem to understand  why some wrap everything  in... IMO... It's not because we are unsure of our facts.

I haven't seen anything useful you have added to the understanding of the case despite your links to pdl

I noticed tonight that our facebook page post promoting your initiative has been very active and has attracted a huge amount of comments from across the spectrum, most of which have been constructive.  The good thing about facebook being that the majority of the posters are identifiable.  Over 440 people reached is a great start!

Tip: It usually takes one or two initial donations to get these things started Rob.
