That is precisely the nature of the type of post to which I referred.  Just so unnecessary and a prime example of negativity which in my opinion, merely detracts from the reputation of the forum.

I think there have been some viciously nasty posts of late concerning events which happened more than twelve years ago and about which nothing can be changed by any member of this forum either individually or collectively.

I think the forum could be immeasurably improved if those members, who appear to be inimically hostile about the McCann family to the point of obsession, were to refrain from taking every opportunity to be as negative as possible when discussing Madeleine's case.

And of course this is the best way to sow unity on the forum, bearing in mind there's only a handful of posters, and maybe half of them 'sceptic'. So I wonder who you are referring to as posting 'viciously nasty' posts and what do you expect as a response, a meek agreement?

There have been some viciously nasty posts on this forum...the McCanns referred to as shit parents...i dont see Brietta as being biased.....I dont see myself as biased. Bias suggests some measure of prejudice which I just dont see. Based on the evidence I dont see the mccans as being involved...no bias...just simple logic and a clear understanding of the evidence

There are plenty of fora and other social media platforms where like minded posters can feel free to spew out their anonymous bile to their hearts content.

I believe this forum to be unique in allowing members of all opinions and none to express themselves.  Can you name half a dozen fora where I or anyone else sharing my views would be welcome to post?  I doubt it.  Whereas I could indicate hundreds where any sceptic member of this forum would be welcomed with open arms.
Therefore for me and perhaps others like me this forum is particularly precious and I really dislike witnessing it being trashed whether deliberately or not.
