I trust what you say, Caroline, but I can’t believe Sheila would have sat chain-smoking cannabis in front of her 13-year-old second cousin, sat in the sitting room of WHF. She only smoked it occasionally (about 4 days prior to Jeremy killing her), so she certainly wasn’t a daily smoker of it, let alone chain-smoked it.

I bet the police twisted Helen’s words and put them to her in such a way to make Sheila sound bad! Sheila did roll her own cigarettes, so the policeman may have planted a seed in young Helen’s mind. Don’t forget, the police behaved appallingy under the guidance of Taff Jones.


I simply don’t believe Sheila would have been so reckless to not only smoke cannabis flagrantly, sat in WHF, but would do so in front of a 13-year-old, and offer her some too!

Colin actually says how Sheila warned him NEVER to smoke pot in front of the twins, which he’d only done once, and had stopped smoking it, anyway....here’s an excerpt from his book:

The statement was made after Bambrs arrest and therefore TJ wasn't off the case. However, his defence are within their rights to take statements - I think it must have been down to them. I don't think it was ever used - Sheila wasn't on trial.

Yes, my mistake, It's a ling time since I read the statement. See - no disgrace to admit you made a mistake or were wrong. No need for defensiveness or 'whatever's' 

It doesn't say who took the statement but it does state that signatures were witnessed - however, there are no signatures and it was obtained from Helen at home.

His wallet is listed on one of the exhibit lists. I'm not sure what you're getting at? Bamber went straight for the wallet after returning to WHF and asked about it's contents, he then called the police (specifically DS Jones to ask where it went). There is no way he should have known what was in the wallet, or where it was.

I'm sure you do, you'll ignore the fact that the wallet was the first thing Bamber went looking for and that he knew where it should be and how much was inside. You'll ignore and try an divert attention elsewhere. It's all been done before by other 'fence sitters' and supporters. The list is on the blue forum - I don't have a number.

The case was done and dusted 35 years ago...

Jeremy Bamber is guilty of killing his family; he also beat both Nevill to a pulp before shooting bullets into his brain, AND he also beat June and made her suffer too!

The wallet was clearly taken by police or given to them by the family, so that part isn’t relevant. It makes no difference to the fact Jeremy knew exactly where Nevill had left it; knew how much money was in there; and rushed upstairs to get his dirty paws on it...

The police, lawyers and courts aren’t stupid — I doubt some armchair detective 35 years down the line could get the case reopened on the fact Nevill’s wallet was in the possession of the police...
