Jeremy couldn’t have pleaded guilty due to insanity as the prison psychiatrist said he wasn’t suffering from any mental illness: he just said that he was a psychopath and pathological liar, and he steadfastly believed Jeremy was as guilty as sin.

Had he managed to bamboozle them into thinking he was criminally insane, he’d have been sent to Broadmoor and would never have been released.

He's running out of time for sure if he is ever to be freed one day when he is incapable of doing any further mischief to anyone. That can only happen though if he has the guts to admit his guilt and make the best of it.

Suspect the Supreme Court Judges decision on his full life term were partly based on these facts

Are you suggesting that Nevill was in full knowledge of June's mental instability and disregarded how it would effect children in her care? Might it have simply been that after years of living with the unhappiness caused by her 'disappointments' he believed that babies would be the answer to her well being?

And whose fault can it be said to have been? Whether one believes it to have been Jeremy or Sheila, don't you think it strange that two totally unrelated children, bought up by the same adoptive mother, should end up being damaged? A child is NEVER responsible for any kind of abuse inflicted on it by adults.

What makes you think Nevill encouraged June to adopt? How do you know it wasn’t her who was more eager to?

I’m sure it was a joint decision — it would have had to of been.

Whatever, the both obviously wanted a family, and they went through all the hoops to adopt not just one, but two children. I don’t know why you seem to be pointing the finger at Nevill: out of all of them I think he was the most normals and nicest of them all.
