He denied she said she dreamt Madeleine was buried on a hill, that is all. As for the rest perhaps Kate called a relative first who suggested she contact Paiva, or perhaps as it was presumably night time (having just woken from a dream) she didn't want to disturb family members who may have been sleeping themselves or perhaps she felt too embarrassed to share her dream with them, and thought a policeman would be more discreet and less judgemental (not that he was either of those things as it turned out!)
OK. Let's do this. he was playing on words- second hand from Kate.
Kate did not say MBM was buried on a hill.Paiva assumed this by the conversation- Kate said her dream was that MBM was on a hill and asked Paiva to search there. NOW why did Gerry not explain what Kate actually meant if Paiva misunderstood.
Search on top of a hill- which hill? why should we look for a live or dead child? what is she wearing?
You see where I am coming from. no one is mocking Kate. We are just discussing conversations which are important and the denials being pushed to protect Parents reputations.
