I'm really not sure what point you are trying to make.  Kate phoned Paiva, upset because she had a dream about Madeleine and wanted him to (presumably) assure her that they were looking for her and would take her dream seriously as some sort of premonition.  And for this she is being mocked by you why exactly?

No, you are correct.  Phones had been invented and were in use by the couple on  many other occasions.

My husband and I travel abroad with our work,sometime in different time zones, we still call if we need some comfort or to inform of important events- death of family member as example.  Kate also had supportive parents. It was the Policia Judiciaria who had them under surveillance ... the record is there in the files for all to see.

I cannot envisage that having gone to that trouble the question would not have been asked ... but then again this is Amaral's investigation we are talking about.

I think Amaral was long gone in June 2008 when Inspector Paul Dias of the DCIPT in Lisbon produced his report.

It was a DREAM.  By their nature they are imprecise.  The dream upset her.  I think that’s understandable.  Perhaps it’s fair to say that calling a policeman in a state about a dream is irrational behaviour but I don’t see why it should be used as either a) a stick to beat her or b) as evidence that she knew where the body was.
