A deleted post is "tough cheese" only if the required procedures are not followed.

Maybe she was just a random child picked off the streets?

Madeleine in my theory gets out of the apartment because of too many "strangers" checking out the apartment, but once on the road/footpath, she is unable to get into the Tapas area (possibly the entrance door had been closed) and she was then subsequently randomly picked up by a stranger.

I can think of several reasons why it was Maddie that was targeted.

Just because she disappeared why does it follow she was targeted ? unless your line of thinking is the doors were unlocked only at 5a and it was easy picking's.

Well from Tasmins evidence, he was leaning on the garden wall stretching forward and peering in.   To me that sounds like watching it.

If you read the files, you will find that several people noticed him watching Apartment 5A
