Could it be because Christian Bruckner doesn't have any history of pedocide or murder?

In fact, he was an abuser, a sex pest and even a rapist as well as a pill peddler, somewhat estranged from the more major crime of murder.

I think the Germans simply invented the Bruckner did it narrative and now they are stuck with it.
Not this again John.  Is it necessary to have a history of pedocide or murder before you can be suspected of pedocide or murder?  In my opinion this is the most facile defence of CB one could put forward and yet you keep on doing it - why?

What?  The Forensic Evidence that The PJ ignored in The Rape Case, do you mean?  That evidence that got Brueckner convicted by The Germans many years later?

Who knows if The PJ have got any evidence in The McCann Case?  They could be ignoring it for all I know.

The PJ had forensic evidence but no suspect. Thanks to Brueckner's 'friends' (after many years of silence) the Germans had one.

Brueckner wasn't a suspect in The McCann Case either.  Or was he?  You would have to ask Amaral about that.

No, I think it's mostly because we aren't privy to the BKA evidence to be able to make that determination yet.

Those are not estranged crimes though, as we've already covered in this thread. Studies show that crimes like burglary, violence and rape are the most common indicators found in child abductor-murderers. Having a previous history for murder is actually very uncommon. Only about 1 in 14 people who are convicted of murdering a child following an abduction have had any sort of prior arrest for murder.

Most of the time when children are abducted and murdered by stranger, the event is unplanned. They are victims of opportunity when a sexual predator is presented with a situation they cannot resist. They don't set out with the intention to commit murder, the killing happens afterwards in order to avoid detection.

Even if the Germans are wrong about CB, and I accept they might be, I find the notion they would "invent" such a narrative extremely strange. Why on earth would they do that? What do they stand to gain from such a reckless move? IMO they must firmly believe they have the correct suspect based on what they've found.

I wonder if the 'Brueckner did it' narrative would have worked in the rape case without the forensic evidence? It seems they're reluctant to test it in court in the Madeleine case as they have no forensics to help them.
You are speculating... The FACT is Wolters has said he doesn't need forensic evidence.
What is ironic is posters have decided Amaral is a reliably good policeman... Without any evidence to support it... And Wolters isn't.
No forensic evidence in the Cipriano case

What forensic evidence do you think the PJ had.. You do realise Portugal does not admit lcn dna... Even if its conclusive

I asked you  if you think Amaral solved the case in 2007. You either think he did or you think he didn't.  We know you liked the unsupported claim that he did, which is an odd thing to do if you thought it was incorrect.  If I had liked a post which said HCW solved the case in 2020 would you not draw some inference from that?

I'm pretty sure I'm not wrong about what you believe wrt to this case, but why so coy?  Is it because you think refusing to acknowledge what is IMO blatantly obvious makes you look objective and even-handed?  I'm afraid that ship sailed a long time ago.

Why does it matter what I think? I'm not here to argue for my favourite theory or suspect because I don't have either. The truth could be something that no-one has thought of, in fact imo.

in every case its possible...based on the evidence...to decide what is most likely. it seems you are incapable of doing that

In this case many people have suggested what, in their opinions, most likely happened. As yet none of their theories have been shown to be correct. I don't think there is enough evidence in this case to settle on any one theory as the most likely one.

Rubbish, and more pathetic deflection IMO.

Thats your opinion... I think there is plenty of evidence tto show what's likely... SY seem to have agreed... As do the Germans
My view is the Portuguese and sceptics placed too much faith in grime and his dogs... And still do

You're right - why should we care what you think, yet you keep on sharing your opinions, making your sly inferences, as if it's somehow important or necessary to do so.

We can't have The McCanns getting off the hook, no matter how silly that one has become.  What with all those other boxes being ticked.

It's not a question of liking or not liking your posts - this is a debating forum, for challenging opinion and theories IMO.    What I do like is challenging some of the rubbish I read on here, and all the while you provide it, I will challenge it. Sorry not sorry.
