I’m sure an abductor exists, and I believe he has been identified. What may never happen is the accumulation of sufficient evidence to prove it in a court of law. Many, many suspects remain unprosecuted because although it seems highly probable they committed the crime and circumstantial evidence points to their guilt this is simply not enough cast iron proof to put before a judge and jury. I don’t think it is in any way a reflection on the German or British investigation that this is the point we have likely reached, so not pitiful at all (unlike the initial Portuguese investigation which missed so many leads and opportunities, and which seemed to turn a blind eye to other sex crimes against foreign tourists and their children on the Algarve).
Anyway, please remember you’ve explicitly stated you are not remotely interested in discussing this case with me, so I am quite content for that to be my last word on the matter. If however you quote this post and offer some reply I will probably be responding again and then we’ll be back having a discussion, something you have said you’re not interested in. What’s it to be?
