That's absolutely fine with me .. I dont come on here to discuss anything with you anyway.

There's nothing left to discuss. Wolters has solved the case.

Now that would be pretty hilarious. Imagine a situation where rather than going to prison for the rape he didn't commit, Hazel B had to pay Brueckner compensation.

Certainly the media that carried her interviews might come to regret doing so.
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Or maybe not -

Anyway, I think Brueckner should be released & Wolters should be thrown in prison for being a massive liar.

Question 1). is Martin Smith’s statement evidence in your view?
Question 2) If so what theory does his evidence tend to support in your view?

So, yes I would say you most certainly do, I’m amazed you would even attempt to deny it.

Martin Smith's statement is evidence. This is an uncorroborated eye witness account that has yet to be discounted. The results of the dog searches are evidence. The statement from the cleaner of 5a is evidence. The discovery of a pink blanket during a search is evidence. The fingerprints found on the shutters are evidence. The lack of fingerprints on the shutters is evidence. The testimony and subsequent, clandestine identification of Robert Murat by Jane tanner in the back of a van is evidence. The results of Dane Krugel's magic hair triangulation device is evidence.
Some evidence has more veracity that others, such as the alleged video surveillance of Kate and Gerry visiting a spot on a hill when lured there by an amateur detective.

Well seems people agree we are no further on.

Its amazing how EX police officers now give there view.

Also the amount of videos examining the so called abduction have been uploaded on youtube the last couple of months....especially the whooshing curtains. ...etc etc

and the dogs

An lets not forget.

Simply because Portugal Police shelved the case in 2008

It doesn't imply that you Kate and Gerry Mccann.

Have been absolved in any wrong doing insufficient evidence

doesn't equate to  innocence

"Even assuming that the applicants' reputation had been damaged, this was not on account of the argument put forward by the book's author but rather as a result of the suspicions expressed against them," the ECHR ruled.

Have we learned anything new in the  last 16 years?  Not if the above post is anything to go by, no.   Still going on about the bloody dogs, it’s really quite pitiful.

What is more pitiful ....is over 17 year on .. 13 million + spent  looking for an abductor that doesn't it seems exists.

I’m sure an abductor exists, and I believe he has been identified.  What may never happen is the accumulation of sufficient evidence to prove it in a court of law.  Many, many suspects remain unprosecuted because although it seems highly probable they committed the crime and circumstantial evidence points to their guilt this is simply not enough cast iron proof to put before a judge and jury.  I don’t think it is in any way a reflection on the German or British investigation that this is the point we have likely reached, so not pitiful at all (unlike the initial Portuguese investigation which missed so many leads and opportunities, and which seemed to turn a blind eye to other sex crimes against foreign tourists and their children on the Algarve).

Anyway, please remember you’ve explicitly stated you are not remotely interested in discussing this case with me, so I am quite content for that to be my last word on the matter.  If however you quote this post and offer some  reply I will probably be responding again and then we’ll be back having a discussion, something you have said you’re not interested in.  What’s it to be?

Your suspects, my suspects, doesn’t matter a hill of beans.  The only suspects that matter are those that are being investigated by the law enforcement agencies that have access to ALL the evidence, including that which none of us have had sight of.

Yes I agree, the abductor has been identified. Martin Smith identified him 17 years ago, & that's why Brueckner hasn't been charged.

I can't help but wonder why Madeleine’s parents still haven't had sight of ALL the evidence, & why they're not beating down Wolters door demanding to see it?

What makes you think its still being investigated ...who are the law enforcement agencies

what evidence....We don't have sight of it because it seems there isn't any....

If there was evidence.... charges would have been brought by now ...surely

The fact that Operation Grange is still being funded and that HCWhas confirmed that CB is still being treated as the prime and only suspect in the Madeleine McCann case for starters.  They say there is evidence, you say there is not.  I know whose opinion I value more on the matter and it’s not yours.   And finally, to your last point - can I refer you to the words of mine you quoted and highlighted in bold and agreed with so adamantly reply #714 , there is your answer.
