Tis surprising how quickly these hat filled posts disappear, don't you think?  And also how many Comments Sections are not available anymore.  The Media don't do this because they don't want nice comments.  They do it because they are sick to death of the same old people posting the same old libellous rubbish.

Let's humour CEdwards and assume that those people who have "liked" the This Morning facebook page are simply your average common-or-garden Brit.  I'm prepared to concede that the vast majority of people who like that programme are decent sorts.    There are 671,000 of those on facebook.  Now, how many different people have posted Anti McCann sentiment on that thread? Shall we say 1000, being generous?  Well, that equates to 0.0014% of "This Morning" FB "likers".  Hmm.  What does  this tell us?

Another point to note is that you don't actually have to "like" that page to comment, so it's quite possible for people who have never even watched that programme before in their lives or who hate it with a passion to comment.  So, where does THAT leave us?  Are we convinced by these facts that the majority of Britain can't bear the McCanns?  Hmmmmmmm....

I'll have to excuse you, you're from Barthelona of course. (Not that the Catalans would pronounce it that way of course)

You're mistakenly equating those that like/view with those that have posted comments.  What percentage of those that have posted are pro and what percentage are anti?  Just approximately will do.  Of course you will undoubtedly now say that those who have "anti" sentiments are much more likely to post, aren't you?  In case you do feel that way inclined, you will. of course, have evidence to back up that view, won't you?  8((()*/

I don't comment on these articles anymore, and there is no doubt of whose side I am on.  Why bother competing with horrible people.  Kate now knows that she has loads of support , far more than are against her.  That is all that matters.

Whoops.  Just commented.  Some pillock posted that The Death Threat wasn't serious. ORLY.  How did he know that unless he is a Pitch Forker reading Hate Sites?

You do not need science or statistics to KNOW there was a backlash on social networking sights and paper comments from a cross section of the public, nothnf to do with the usual suspects, which were confused, bemused, and against what KateMccannwas saying about forgiving the monster who took her child, that much is very clear, it was also very clear on mumsnet which traditionally has supported fhe mccanns

Yes , there was a huge backlash when it was revealed (first on my blog), that Kate had received death threats from a load of trolls on a facebbok page, to which you are a member of .

I believe video-maker extraordinaire HideHo is at the helm of said Facebook page, where death threats were made against Kate McCann.  Instead of closing down this page and issuing a public apology, HideHo merely brushed off the death threat as a comment made in "jest" by a "respected poster".

"Jest"?  I bet Kate McCann wasn't laughing.

Kate has recieved loads of death threats ? !!!  ...   (  that's horrible )

I won't ask you to give the details of the threats   (  although you might tell us how many of these death threats have been made  ...  I'm assuming  'loads'  means many  )

Have all these people who have been making death threats been arrested  ?

Not a death threat then.  I see.  Are you going to insult the intelligence of this forum by claiming that it was "banter" about a "starting pistol"?

Heidi - is flummoxed by it all I reckon

one minute churning out sentimental cut&paste vids to try and haunt the parents

the next minute someone in her 'clan' issueing a death threat

- overwhelmed her a tad

Heidi is busy getting that particular genie back in the bottle

But it's all too late

Death threats against ANYBODY - are no laughing matter - these are a criminal matter

Are you a a spokesman for this forum? No, I didn't think so.

If this was a real death threat, the police will have said so and taken measures and actions. They havent and the person who posted that remark has been interviewed by police and not even cautioned. Now, where is the next drama queen standing?

Just because the person who made the threat has turned out to be a dickhead does not mean that it should have been ignored.  She was visited by the Police who decided that she is a dickhead.
Oh, the shame, and a Grandmother to boot
