I have just watched the British Woman On death Row programme about this evil woman Linda Carty (it's on youtube) and I have to say it's quite the most biased programme I have ever seen, This woman helped kill a 25 year old completely innocent woman to steal her baby and this programme basically says even if she is guilty she had a hard life (of crime and drug addiction) so it doesn't matter if she is guilty she should be freed!

And how on earth can she be British ... she was born on a carribean island and has never been to Britian! Just because the island (St . Kitts) used be be British owned does not make her British in my book. She has both a British and USA passport .... she lived in St. Kitts then Texas and never visited the UK!

Total liberal, tree hugging rubbish in support of a vicious killer who doesn't deserve an ounce of sympathy in my book!

Once again the real victim ... the poor murdered Mum is ignored completely!

I am on my Blackberry or I would have a look at that video.  Was it made by some of her supporters Tim?  We know how biased many of these videos can be and even those being made by once reputable TV companies are no longer reliable.  You only need to look at the recent Jeremy Bamber docufilm made for ITV and the number of serious errors it contained.

Where did the 'she is British' label come from?  St Kitts is an independent nation although still a part of the Commonwealth.

The title of the documentary is British Woman On Death Row ..... if she is British then we have a population bigger than China's because a billion Indians would also be be British just for starters! Here is the documentary and it's appalling ... excusing a terrible crime! IMHO

I thought, if you had a passport belonging to that specific country (or a dual passport) then you were bound by the laws of that particular country, so if you had a dual UK/USA passport and committed a crime in the USA, then the UK wouldn't rush to your aid because you have part USA citizenship, you committed a crime in the USA, so thats that. Not that I think they'd rush to your aid if you'd broken the law anyway. I don't think you can say "Well, I did this, this and this and now they want to flog me but I don't like it, help" and expect a "Yes, yes, yes".

The UK Government don't rush to anyone's aid in a foreign country no matter what the difficulties.  The Consulate service is antiquated and slow and consuls are always somewhat reticent at getting involved in what is more often than not, none of their business.

If you get into difficulties through your own endeavours in any foreign country you are basically on your own!

When I was arrested in Spain on the basis of lies promoted by the former Inland Revenue and accepted hook line and sinker by a Scottish Justice Dept., I saw a British Consul once in 3 months while detained in Alicante.  When I was moved to Madrid the nice lady from the Embassy used to bring me and an English prisoner the London Times newspapers every week for the additional 3 months I was there. These were the copies the Embassy received for the staff. Other than that they were of no real help.

I met some really interesting but highly dangerous and powerful people while in Madrid including several ETA terrorists and a high ranking Mafia Don who was later flown out by helicopter before joining a private Lear Jet flight to Italy.

I must say they did make me some interesting offers!   @)(++(*

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

Didn't you tell us previously that there was even a Spanish Government former finance Minister in there as well?  It must have been quite a mix of people to have under the same roof.

Is it true that everybody arrested in Spain and due to be extradited goes through Madrid?
