Two dogs and two handlers: Eddie and Grime; Frankie and Ellis (handler)

I know... but the FOI response states that they were not always deployed as a tandem. Hence my question.

Sometimes Eddie would be deployed alone with Grime

And sometimes Frankie would be deployed alone with Ellis

Or sometimes the two dogs (and the two handlers) would be deployed simultaneously.

Grime would only ever work with Eddie

And Ellis would only ever work with Frankie.

I'm aware of people who are convinced of this.

Perhaps it's too long ago now, but I simply haven't found anything to substantiate that.

I DID at one point think that I'd seen certain details, but when I checked back, there was absolutely nothing that I had found to back that up.

I wonder if I fell into the trap of reading about it and somehow that altered my memory. As I'm at the forefront pointing out how easily memories can become distorted, it wouldn't be fair not to question my own.

Fridges, anyone?
What would you expect to substantiate it, short of the actual video clip itself?  I concede it's possible that I and many others are enjoying a group hallucination but I doubt it somehow...

1:48 - there's no cut.

Pfinder, that is not the throwing up in the air that we are talking about.  We are all aware of the one at 1.48

On one of the videos Eddie threw Ccat straight up in the air, in a manner rather reminiscent of a tennis player throwing the ball up when serving.  He bit it IIRC and then threw it straight up.  It came down in virtually the same place as it went up from.

Why has that been removed from the video?

I can also confirm I saw a part in the video, where Eddie played with Cuddlecat in the middle of the floor but failed to bark, when I first started online on this case 2 years ago.
Why did Grime expect Eddie to mark Cuddlecat? A dead child doesn't clutch a toy.

Unless of course the child was in contact with the toy on death and the body continued to be so for some time afterwards, or of course there could have been secondary transfer.

The key question is why, aside from the sequence remembered by so many of us, of Eddie literally and physically playing with the toy, Eddie (apparently, even on what we see today), took no interest in alerting to the toy until after it had put in the cupboard.

Even on what we still see, Eddie erred, either in "failing" to alert to a scent all the time wasn't hidden, or in alerting to a "scent" as soon as it was.

There's no getting away from it.

Cutting out the sequence so many of us remember of Eddie, literally, playing with the toy, slightly mitigates the extent of the scandal.  It doesn't make the scandal go away.

Whilst the edit, is itself, scandalous

'Scandal'

Eddie was a dog, dogs often do such things.

Have you never owned a dog ?

Roughly 8 and a half minutes in is where you have the extended, lingering, close-up shots of boxes of anti-Parkinsonian medication taken by Kate's father and (I think) slightly before that, these manuals, billed as 'top secret' but freely available on line.

Then there are some best-selling novels at the time, innocent holiday reading, with titles that could be (mis)construed in an altogether different light under the circumstances of that holiday.

The whole thing stinks.

So if people have gone this afr to edit the videos in such a way to implicate the McCanns ...have their been subtle changes to the released files

Paranoia will get you in the end.

'implicate the McCanns'.

In what way precisely ?

Why is that ferryman ?

Because it was a deliberate and orchestrated attempt to make it look as though Eddie had reacted to cadaver scent on cuddle cat.
The question is by whom?

Now was that toy forensically examined ?

Second there are reports, I heard them at the time, that Kate Mccann washed the toy.Now if true, and I will look that up later, why should she do that and why was it allowed to happen ?

Despite Grime's claim that he recommended it should be, no.
