If her anger was genuinely felt I think it it could lead to be an extreme example of an unprofessional product and as you say, could be worse than doing nothing.

Anyway, what moral compass is she exhibiting when she uses the death of a woman who was 'doorstepped' while announcing proudly that she uses the 'doorstepping' tactic herself.

She alleges anger because the woman was in her opinion 'outed' but cannot see the hypocrisy of herself 'outing' someone else imo to enable attacks by trolls, what other possible reason could she have?
If that person is later found dead ... will she feel a responsibility?

Her proudly proclaimed attitude probably gives me an excuse for cynicism.

I think her anger is genuine, but the logic of what she thinks should be done is very muddled. But it's not just Sonia's train of thought - everyone she talks to on social media thinks the same.

There's a contradiction: every day it's proclaimed that mainstream media no longer is very important, but Sonia declares that she's out to challenge mainstream media 'censorship'. If it's no longer that important, who cares if lawyers block criticism of Operation Grange or discussion of other subjects?

Everyone knows what we think; it's all there on the search engines (there's a mass of information, but most of it muddled). I'm not sure what SP hopes to achieve.

TBH Lyall nothing any of us say either here or on any other social media platform will make any difference to the ultimate outcome of this case. In large enough numbers we may be able to sway public opinion one way or another but what we can't do is sway the law enforcement agencies that are investigating this case to whatever side of the fence we sit on. If the evidence is there they will get a conviction. If not the speculation will continue. It really is as plain, and as boring, as that.

I'm assuming she works freelance, so  is likely to be very careful about what she says.
The question is whether she will be intimidated by the likes of CR

In what way?   If she stays within the law - 'the likes of CR'  will have no reason to have any interest in her.

It's completely in her own hands.
The notion that innocence prevails over guilt – when there is no evidence to the contrary – is what separates civilization from barbarism.    Unfortunately, there are remains of barbarism among us.    Until very recently, it headed the PJ in Portimão. I hope he was the last one.

That's very naive.

no it isn't...anything she says will be governed by the laws of libel...she cannot make accusations that are not true and are not supported by evidence..

That's very naive.

Why is it naieve?   What can CR  - or anyone else do to 'intimidate' her if she doesn't break the law?

Exactly. All we see at present is the usual wild speculation.
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Or maybe not -

its called hypocrisy...criticise Brunt then doorstep others...perhaps hypocrisy is the wrong word...stupidity might be better.
By doorstepping others she legitimises Brunt's actions....that's fine by me

Exactly.

Also -
In her video SP makes a point of mentioning 'trolls' who in her words have 'absolutely savaged' her on line.   It's noticeable that - despite initially shrugging it off with the...  'I'm quite used to it'......  remark'  - she then completely contradicts that by revealing that because of it - she has actually gone to the trouble of identifying these people who have been saying such 'awful, smeary things about her and her loved ones' and is going to expose them because IHO 'they need to be revealed' !        One can only assume she believes that's OK  because she is so incensed by the perceived injustice of their online behaviour towards HER.

However  - If she is so upset by nasty remarks posted against herself - then how can she possibly defend the online bile and spite posted against the McCanns  ( by Brenda Leyland amongst others ) - which has been going on on a daily basis for years?   Why does she think other people should not be incensed in the same way she obviously is?

Apparently she is also outraged by the doorstepping of BL  - but sees nothing wrong in doing exactly the same thing herself - only more so.

IMO she needs to make her mind up -  because at the moment she appears to be trying to 'hunt with the hounds  AND run with the hare'.   And that is always a recipe for disaster imo.

Sonia Poulton of PVTV fame...this is what one person had to say about her presentation of the Hollie Greig case....

It only remains for me to point out that anyone being interviewed by this crazy TV station, which purports to be telling the truth to the people - but clearly is not - is risking their own reputation

There are different ways of presenting a story. I'm sure two skillful writers could take the same basic information and portray it in completely different ways without crossing the libel line.

We regularly see this in action in the red top media
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Yet you accept the McCann's have told the truth without knowing the actual cause of Madeleine's disappearance...........

So how do you know they have told the truth ?

Is it as many suspect, sheer blind faith ?
