The 911 Call:

The power lines that supply power and phone service is located on the East side of the alley way. Back of the house. Power poles are located on the property lines.
Over head wires. Many house alarm system can use phone lines if activated to call out on. These wires are easly located in the dark alley way by anyone. The killer could easly test the phone line from the hard to see alley way by placing a 911 call before the crime.
He could use a small hand held phone set. These hand held test phone set are simple to connect and use.

No one in the house that day said the 911 call came from inside the Ramsey's house. What about outside the house. This type of phone hand set has two wire clips, Red and Black. If two phones are install maybe blue and yellow at the box. It take only two wires for the phone to work. If the wire conections are shorted, The alarm system may not call out. Good for the killer. This is a 24 volt system. More Data.

How to hook the test phone up:

Simply hook one phone lead to one of the wires and the other lead to a ground, hook up the other phone lead to ground and search through the bundle of wire until you hear the phones make a connection. Then you can talk to the person on the other end and mark the wire the same on both sides! Its full proof, you cant go wrong, you will save time and manhours!

Did the killer use this idea in this crime to monitor the family.

The Basement: WHY? Crime Classification Manual (CCM) as a personal cause homicide.

The main part of the house was built in 1927. The house has a brick face on the exterior and the basement was finish. The ceiling and walls in the basement was painted white. This make for a more sound prof construction.

The basement stairs are located in the home on the North/East side of the house, in line with the front door. Right below the main stairs that lead to the up stair bed rooms. There is three rizer and a landing on the first floor before entering the basement door. This leave less steps to get down to the basement floor level. The floors have white carpet. It a straight run down to the bottom then turn right. Hand rail on the right.

Basement Square Feet: App. 1,240
28 X 40 ft. 1120 sq ft. and the cellar 10 X 12 ft. 120 sq ft.

Seven rooms make up the basement.

At the bottom of the basement stairs to the right is a door that goes to a 1/2 bath, sink and tolet. The tolet was broken and had the water tank uninstalled. One small square window is located in this bathroom. Lock.
Open a nother door and you are in a hall way that has counters on the left side, next to this is the furnest room, Gas hot water heater, Boiler heating system for the older part of the house, and a freezer for food, located it this room. A basement window with a metal vent pipe for make up air is installed. This window is protected by a outside metal bars.

Out side the boiler room to the left is a cellar, this room is use for storage like window screen and paint cans. JB body was found here. No windows in the concrete constructed room. This room is located under the sun room, South/East side of the house - Front.

The center of the basement has what is called a train room for the son toys. The West end of this room has lot of storage like the mother's paint supplies and other crafts items. This room has a window well that is made up of three windows. A window well is installed on the exterior with a metal grate at ground level. This window was left open most of the time because the water heat pipes at the ceiling made this room too hot. A person could come and go from here.

Off the stair area, there is a washer and dryer room with a phone and a counter. Off this room there is a nother storage room with a dry wall over the other side basement window that lead no were after the new addition. This was found open with a chair under this one side close up window opening.

The basement also has a small panel door to a crawl space. This panel door was screw close.

There was a out of place chair in the basement blocking the door way to the train room.

Many items was stored in the basement like items uses in the crime. The killer had a lot of item to pick from.

The question is,
Why go to the basement?
It has only one way out, if one does not use the basement stairs. This would not be a very safe or fast exit.

Eyes:

When a person dies, all of their muscles relax. If the eyes are open at the moment of death, they will usually stay that way. Also, if someone had their eyes closed at the moment of death, they will tend to open a short time later due to the relaxation of the muscles that open and close the eyes. This isn't always the case, but for the majority of people, the eyes will be open.

JR said her eyes were close when he pick her up.

The Butler door was hinge left with a siver lock set. No dead bolt was installed on the glass door. The door jame strike plate was in place so the safty lever would work. To enter this door will require a key or it was left unlock or the killer exited this door from the inside. The best exit for the killer is this door. The 1:00 AM dog walking neighbor may have cause a change to his exit with JB. He made his plans on the fly with ever thing hes did as it happen. The basement location may have been added at the last second to avoid getting notice by the neighbor walking the dog as he was to exit with JB from the house at that time.

The door was found open that moring.

We check the distance from the butler door to the street and it is 75 feet to the street. The neighbor fence would block any view. The grade and landscaping add to this too.

Data:
1 mile = 5280 feet = 25 min.
211.2 feet per min. walking.

The distance is 75 feet
Time to walk to the street is 21 sec.
The neighbors or a person walking a dog has only 21 sec. to see the killer leave with JB from thee Ramsey yard.

Back then there was no metal fence to work with.

The street:

15th street run North and South.
The width of the street is 30 feet.
Side walks and on two side and are next to the street.
Park vans could park in front of the Ramsey's house and not be seen from the top level bed room if van is park with in 70 ft of center of the house.
The grade run upgrade toward Baseline road.
The grade is 31 ft grade change from Cascade ave. to Baseline Rd in 608 ft long - one block.
If a van was to push started, he would park on the East side of the street facing North.
Neighbor seen a bark color van park near the Ramsey's house. Maybe Blue.
No power line or poes and located on this street.
No street lights installed.
Lots of trees and lanscaping on this street.
Dark street.

Why the jump start of a van?

The Back Door:

The west side of the house has a door that lead into the back hallway, This walkway devides the dining and kitchen from the den and garage. The door have a wood type screen door and the main door in made with full glass. This metal constructed door had two lock sets, A dead bolt and the standard door knob lock set. If the killer was at this area, he would be next to the basement window well, the kitchen window were the markers were found and a clear view of the back stair way where the ramson note was place. The main knob lock set did not have the door jam plate installed, this would make it very easy to enter this door with out damage or noise. The lock safty pin would not work, so a plastic card could easy open this door. Note: The next day people came over early and use this door, was the dead bolt lock?It is most likely the killer use this door to enter and the butler door to exit that nite.

The paper pad that was use for the ramson note was in full view from this door area too.
The stairway also was in full view from this door too. The back stair way.

The basement Light switch: Flashes of lights

The 1927 house was built with a light switch at the top of the stairs. Then the house was added on to. A walkway was cut from the inside wall to the new hallway called the butler kitchen. At this time what was a three step down to a landing, turn then go down the main basement stairs to the basement floor. A basement door was then relocated and a landing light installed on the main floor. This is a can type light. The 15 amp wire use for the switch was installed in a double box. 14 gage wire. One single pole switch turns on the hall/landing new can light and the other one turns on the old light in the basement. Now there is two light switches in the new hallway that was once the landing of the 1927 construction old stairway. The killer had a fifty % chance of turning on the wrong light. The hall way light would be seen from the butler door and the neighbors or the basement light. One may notice a flash of light that nite if this happen.
The plastic double switch plate was wall paper to match the wall paper and pattern.

The Arties:

JB and her mom spent lots of time in the Butler kitchen, This was made into a art / painting workshop area. They made many drawing and then painting them there. The art supplies were move to the basement just before Christmas, so they could use this area for coats. JB use the paint brushes use in the crime in her art work. This out of the way door could have been left unlock. You could easly travel from the back of the house to the front with out getting notice.

The Sun Room:

The 1927 house had a sun room built on the the house. This 10 X 12 foot room had the same type of brick as the main part of the house. The ceiling was flat just like the dining room roof. The sun room was located on the house's South/East corner. The East/front side had three windows and a square window on top of these windows too. The South side had three window just like the front and a service door made mostly of glass. Below the floor in the sun room is what was called the wine cellar, this is where JB body was found at 1:05 PM on the Dec. 26, 1996. There was two set of inside doors from this room, One set went into the dining room and the other goes into the living room. The Christmas tree was place near the living room set of doors. This sun room was used as a sitting room with chairs and end tables. The view from this room was the best in the house for a killer. One could see the front yard, the side yard, look through the dining room doors to the back driveway and the living room and formal dining room. The stairs to the upstairs can be view from this location too. If the killer was to turn off the light in this room. He could keep a eye on the whole property, inside and out and not get notice. If the killer needs a fast getaway out of the house, the service door, all glass to the outside is on the South wall of the sun room. The killer could sit there and watch for the Ramsey to drive into the garage that nite and complete the crime. The Ramson Note could have been printed here with a dark marker.

A neighbor said that the nite light in the sun room that was allway on was off that night.

The Light Switch:

At the top of the basement stair way, the old landing part of the 1927 construction, there was a double light switch. One turn on the basement light and the other turn on the new hall way light in front of the basement door at the top of the stairs. The plastic switch cover was wall paper with a flower pattern. Two top screws were use to install the cover plate, but the bottom two cover plate screws were never installed. We allway install the screws heads so that the slot looks the same, horizontal as they did at the Ramsey's home.

Try to turn on the basement light and you have a fifty % chance of turning on the hall way light.
This may have look like a flash of light that night.

I have always been interested in this case, so thanks for all the details - although it is too much to take in in one go! Many things I had never heard about - well, most people wouldn´t have!

I hope you are copy/pasting!

When you say, "our lab", what are you referring to? (Sorry if I missed it - there are a lot of pages!)

Wine Cellar:

The floor in the so called wine cellar was made with concrete. This floor was pored on the soil and was cold and damp. The room was use to store window screens and paint cans. Any wood doors stored there had to be lifted up off the floor, wood shims were use for this. Two shims per door.
The six panel white wine cellar door had a latch on the outside side of the door. this latch was on the top right sise, and one would have to turn this latch to open the door. The kids were not tall enough to do this. The door had a weather striping install at the bottom because this was a cold room.

We have a lab design to test items use in a crime. With today's tools, we can solve cold case that in the past could not be solve.
We set up a Facebook page with a list of tools we use.
The link is: https://www.facebook.com/jonbenetinvestigation?ref=hl

Each week we add new lab tools and we will post about them there.

There are some items that have not been tested, this year one item could cause a brake in this case.
Our are located in the same state as John Ramsey and he has been very help full.
There is a lot of information that has not been made public and this may have help kept this case a cold case.

We believe this case can be solve and we know that the Ramsey's family did not kill JonBenet. The Boulder police still point them as their persons of interest and this has stop the case from moving forward.

New eyes on the case and new crime scene tools can chain this.

We will do our part.

Thank you for your question. Soon I will post the newest information on this case. New testing and how it may solve this case.
