They were not guessing no, they were looking at the witness statements of everyone there that evening to work out the timeline.  How do you think any timeline is worked out?  Do you expect accuracy to the minute in all crime scene timelines?  You on the other hand ignore all the timelines bar one to make your theory fit.

They'd need a precise to the clock time to start from or from which to work around. Or maybe detectives just practice guesswork. It would be pretty important, because they'd need to disprove the possibility that Gerry could have time to be seen by the Smiths. But as I have presented, Matt thought the alarm was raised prior to 10pm & certainly not the 10:13 that Gerry claimed in his statement.

There is no sighting of Gerry.  There is a sighting of a man and a child, who many months later 2 of the 9 Smiths thought might have been Gerry, not because they recognised his face but because of the way he was holding the child, the same way any man would hold a sleeping child.  It?s hardly conclusive is it? Is it???  Do you really think this is proof it was Gerry?  That we can conclude it must have been him??  Absolute nonsense.

He was identified by two witnesses who were more certain than not that it was Gerry. And that sighting happens to also be the only evidence of abduction.

No one other than Matt, David, Fiona & Russell knew that Madeleine had disappeared. Kate didn't run to the OC reception to report the abduction. Neither did Gerry. It took Fiona to send Matt some 10 minutes roughly after the alarm was raised. Gerry didn't rock up at reception until 10:40ish. And you didn't really answer the question. How would a passer by know that the child was dead? Check their pulse?
A passerby could potentially minutes later, on bumping into a group of frantic searchers out looking for an abductor of a small child, have said ?he went that way? - Gerry could have had no control over what any passersby might have done or thought as he passed them, thst is why no one in their right minds would alert everyone to the fact that his daughter was missing and then carry that same daughter whether dead or alive through streets that other members of the public were very likely to be using.  If you can?t understand that I really can?t help you any further.

There weren't any frantic groups of people out searching for Maddie for at least the first 20 minutes or more. The only people looking for Maddie were Matt, David, Russell & Fiona. They searched the immediate area of the block. Not halfway down the street towards the beach.

4 months after thr event.  Please explain how you believe their memories substantially improved with the passing of time, and why having almost certainly seen Gerry in the papers and the newspapers umpteen times beofre that, the penny never dropped until Gerry was made an arguido?  Do you not believe it?s possible that they may have been influenced by this fact and the negative media at the time?  If not why not?

Explain how Gerry would have known for sure that the police hadn?t turned up, that other people hadn?t started searching, that members of the Tapas group and OC staff hadn?t started widening their search, that the Smith group weren?t heading in the direction of the OC?

They hadn't seen him carrying a child & looking downward until the day he alighted the tarmac. Then they went, ''f..k me, it was him I saw!'

Nobody notified the police  in the first instance. Gerry didn't. He ran off somewhere. Kate didn't, she sat in the apartment. Nor did they notify Tapas staff. And Matt, David, Russell & Fiona, believed they were looking for a child that had wandered out. The two people who knew for certain that this was abduction from bed via window by paedos, they made no attempt whatsoever to notify the Ocean club staff or the police.

Why did it take Fiona, to tell Matt to go to reception? Where was Gerry? Why didn't he do it? Why did he make no attempt to contact OC staff & the police & notify them that a child had just been abducted? Just another mystery within the mystery I suppose.

You really think this is credible evidence? And why did 7 out of 9 family members think theor parents were mistaken?  I take it you are absolutely discounting the possibility that their supposed light bulb moment was influenced by the fact that Gerry had just been made an arguido and all the negative press.

There's more evidence Gerry abducted Maddie than anyone else did.

All completely irrelevant to my point.  Gerry could not have known what was going on back at the apartment after he supposedly left to fetch his dead child from the wasteland, or who might have decided to call the police or who had decided to look further afield or where the Smiths were headed or who they might have encountered.  You seem stubbornly unable to understand what I am saying.  Why is that?

The quality of that evidence is highly tainted by the fact that it is laughable from start to finish.

Nobody know what is going to happen when they wake up each day & leave the house. It's all open to chance. And I'm listening. But you still haven't presented any evidence of abduction. All there is, is a sighting of Gerry.
