Well around 30,000 British people live there; mostly in the Algarve.

Let's hope that none of them ever get involved in a crime.  Although some of them inadvertently have.  But we don't get to hear much about minor issues.

Did anyone actually get to the bottom of the Australian woman who committed suicide by beating herself to death with an axe on her head six times?  No?  Probably not.

52 of whom were registered paedophiles in 2012.

But you didn't have to register as a paedophile in Portugal.  So how many more of them where there?

I am so often fed up with this when in fact it means nothing to me personally.  It is only The Law that actually matters.  But whose Law?

Portugal ceased to pontificate on this case quite some considerable time ago, until they decided that Brueckner would be an Arguido before the Statute of Limitations ran out.  This has to be a joke.  I mean what country puts a Statute of Limitations of fifteen years on the possible Murder of a child?  No matter by whom.  This is insane.

And it means that The McCanns can never be indicted no matter what turns up against them.  Did you all get that?

Meanwhile only Brueckner can be pursued for this now.  In Portugal or Germany.  I can't say that I care which.

i dont think portugal is safe if you are a victim of a crime

If you’re a victim of crime your safety has already been compromised.
Brietta posted on 10/04/2022 “But whether or not that is the reason behind the delay I am certain that Brueckner's trial is going to take place.”

Let’s count the months, shall we?

God knows, that was just the British ones.

yes but in Portugal if you’re a victim of crime they often make you pay for the privliege of being done over in their country , especially if you’re British it would seem.

Yer.  Don't go there.  It's all your fault.  If you hadn't gone there it would never have happened.  Which sadly is quite likely true.

Presumably every country has paedophiles though, & they have got to live somewhere, I mean, we can't just execute them after their first offence.
Is there anywhere other than Portugal you'd care to suggest paedophiles live instead or what should be done about them?  I thought my Antarctica idea was the best suggestion personally. I'm not sure what any of this has to do with Mark Redwine v 16 cadaver dogs though.

We have no idea how many are out there; they only become known if they offend. Also the correct term is child sexual abusers, not all of whom are actually paedophiles.

Oh well, that is okay then.  Catch them if you can.

I suspect that Brueckner isn't actually a Paedophile but just a sexual deviant.  I have no knowledge of this kind of person and no idea for why?

But if you wish to defend him then that is fine by me.
