You quoted a story from the Sun which seemed to be describing tracker dogs. The Portuguese had good tracker dogs of their own.
You quoted from exactly the same source which identified the dogs which were on standby in May but only allowed to make an appearance three months after the event. Didn't you notice ... or have you extraordinarily never heard of them, particularly since you used a source dedicated to their exploits
Snip"The dogs were put on standby to go to the Algarve within days of Madeleine’s disappearance.
"You would expect the Portuguese to make use of the best resources available to them, but they repeatedly ignore the offers of assistance."
The dogs include a spaniel whose sense of smell is so keen she can sniff traces of blood on a weapon even after it has been scrubbed clean.
But the source warned: "They work most effectively within a 28-day time frame. After that the scent becomes much weaker."
https://www.gerrymccannsblogs.co.uk/Nigel/id157.htmWhy do you think the offer of these "specialist" dogs was refused ... but ordinary run of the mill British trackers of which you opine "The Portuguese had good tracker dogs of their own." seem to have had the run of the place.
Did they ??
Why do you suppose the initial Portuguese investigators didn't wasn't to use the alleged two best tools in the box to find Madeleine?
