If so, please point to where it says there was, as I can't seem to find it. A ping does not mean a phone CALL so unless there is a file detailing that a voz OUT record somewhere on the service provider list on 1st of May, there is no foundation for anyone making a phone call on the 1st of May from that phone.

When questioned, she said she was at the table from about 21.30 to 21.50. = 20 minutes at most!

How would she know who, Kate was or remember Kate, when they had only just met?

She also said they were a group of 9.

She remembers that last Tuesday at the end of the quiz, she was invited to the table of nine guests who asked her to join them for a drink.

So how was anyone away from the table?

Once again, a MAP detailing pings on a mobile phone does not equal phone calls made or received. It really isn't that hard to understand.
