Fine. Tell me at what point they should have closed down the investigation into Madeleine's disappearance on the grounds of cost.  Clearly the expense of it upsets you more than the fact that there is a child who needs finding and perpetrator(s) out there who need bringing to justice.  So, tell us how much the police should spend per missing person.

How many cases have been investigated or in the public eye for over 7 years and with NO RESULTS ???

Where do you draw the line  ?

 £10,000,000  ?

£20,000,000  ?

You appear quite prepared to pay an unlimited amount of money on this case, but what about other missing people ?

Don't they get a look in, in your little world ?

Unlike you I'm not interested in drawing lines.  I would like more time, effort and money, yes money, spent on looking for all people who are missing, especially those missing in suspicious circumstances.  Now you tell me where the line should be drawn.  You seem keen to avoid answering this question - why is that?

You try everything and anthing to try and divert attention from where the blame for Madeleine's disappearance solely lies.

What has all the money which has been spent achieved ?

Logic would be appreciated in your answer.

Until or unless the missing person has been found you could argue that every single penny spent on every missing person is a waste of money, if that's the way you want to look at it.  So far, Operation Grange has reviewed all the evidence and identified a number of leads which it would like to pursue but which the PT authorities will not permit them to follow.  Who knows how close they are to uncovering the truth?  It could be a matter of searching a premises and interviewing a suspect, putting a little pressure on those who know what happened to come forward.  A break through and a resolution could happen tomorrow for all we know.

Now, I have answered your question, perhaps you could tell me where you would like the line to have been drawn in this case, financially speaking.

steepens criticism of the money spent has nothing to do with logic but is based on his pathological hatred of her parents
Come, come, let Stephen speak for him or herself.  He or she would like a cap placed on missing person investigations, let's hear what that amount should be.  Also, should a similar cap be placed on ALL police investigations?  Say, a million per murder investigation, 10k for an assault, etc?

For how many years will this farce continue, when nothing has been found ?

Where else Mr. Jones could this money be spent more wisely ???

When the SY investigation is complete it will end...as long as the Portuguese obstruct...it will continue...maddie deserves the proper investigation that the PJ did not carry out
