I have to say I'm somewhat disappointed in the posts here seeing them as disingenoius.  Many here have suggested BC was involved in all sorts of wrongdoing with JB even hinting that his alibi might not have stacked up to the degree he was JB's accomplice in the shootings at WHF.  Yet some hack has now gone to print quoting BC and he has  been swallowed hook line and sinker!?

No.  The police interfered with soc evidenced by A/PS Woodcock's testimony that SC's head was wedged up against the bedside cabinet whereas soc images taken later show her head flat to the floor.  This can be further evidenced by expert testimony from Martyn Ismail who testified at the 2002 appeal hearing that SC had been moved post death at soc.

Very possible. It was such a dreadful crime I can well understand people associated with him refusing to believe he had a hand in it.

Especially as they were such good friends - not easy to admit that your besty just killed 5 people including two 6 years olds and you've been hanging around with him. Bound to be a bit on the defensive - but after his return to NZ, he said nothing, even after the trial.
