We do not support that the basement window was used in this crime.

The Window Well:

The house was built in 1927. The foundation was made of concrete with a pored concrete floor. There were many basement window installed. At the bottom of the basement stairs was a half bath, in this bathroom on the North wall is a window un damage. Down the same North wall near the 1/2 wall point is another basement window and was cover up in the laundry room located by the new pantry/butler room behind the cabinets. To the back of the basement at the Storage room on the North wall is another window cover up by the Addition, stair area for the butler room. The South wall has a opening that goes into the crawl space. The boiler room had a window with a make up air duck with protected metal bars on the out side, this is in front of the house. The west wall located in the storage room had a window found in the open position and a chair under this window, this wind once open to the back yard but was cover over with drywall and studs when the addition was built, and is located near the back hall way by the kitchen. The train room/storage room had a three panel window system, This window opening has a window well and all three windows open to the out side.
Each window is made up of four pains of glass. Starting from the left, window one is hinge left. window two or center is hinge right and window three to the right is hinge right. All windows have a center lock lever. The window well is app. 64 inches wide and divided into three units. The center window was mostly left open because it got very hot in the train room. The concrete wall around the window well has a stone top finish, the piece on the right has been taken. The size of the brick like stone was app. 10 inches long. Was it use in the crime? After picture show the left window has been replace with a full glass pain. why? Foam nuts and other was found at the crime scean and may have came from this area. The tall Pine tree to the right of the window area has been remove too. This could of given the killer a way to the second floor for easy entry to JB floor. Ice ax marks found in the tree. Like use in rock climbing. Note, all basement window are set with no drop window header, this keep the top of the window higher than first floor construction. To exit this area, a chair or suitcase would work well. The basement was carpeted and the Ball Bat found on the front North side of the house wall near the bath room window was 26 inches long. It may have been in the basement.

It's been said that the killer had left some thing of his behind at the crime scene. If the killer use the window well area in this crime, he may have lost the item in the bottom of the window well, JBI files show the bottom of the window well has been push clean to one side as if the killer was looking for the item he lost there.

John Ramsey use this window to enter the house that summer.

Update:

Interstate 5 (I-5) is the main Interstate Highway on the West Coast of the United States, running largely parallel to the Pacific Ocean coastline from Canada to Mexico (Washington to southernmost California). It serves some of the largest cities on the U.S. West Coast, including Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, Los Angeles, and San Diego, and also links the capital cities of Washington (Olympia), Oregon (Salem), and California (Sacramento) together. The highway's southern terminus is the Mexico – United States border and its northern terminus is the Canada – United States border; it is the only Interstate highway to touch the U.S. borders with both Canada and Mexico. Upon crossing the Mexican border at its southern terminus, Interstate 5 continues to Tijuana, Baja California as Mexico Federal Highway 1. Upon crossing the Canadian border at its northern terminus, it continues to Vancouver, British Columbia as British Columbia Highway

The killer printed the ransom note.

Two White Blankets:

The finish basement had a Laundry room at the bottom of the steps then turn West. The side by side washer and dryer was on the West wall of partition room. The cover up basement window was on the North wall and below this was a counter for the beach and the two orange bottles of Tide laundry cleaner and softener. The washer uses 120 vote power and the dryer was electrical type, 220 vote white maytag. Across from the dryer was a black office type phone. The sewer drains was next to the foundation wall below the counter.

Did the killer take out the white blankets from this location to cover up JB in the so called wine cellar? Static cling may have stuck the pink night ware to the blankets found in the wine cellar.

Team JBI

The killer spent lot of time in the finish basement.

So abs, after studying this case... who do you think murdered JonBenet Ramsey?

Definitely copying and pasting... why not just link to your website, Team JBI?

I don´t think it was either Patsy or John Ramsey. I think it is someone who knows the family well. That is all I can say - this case is one of the strangest I have ever come across!
I always end up at a dead end with it, I have suspected both sons. I know it is horrible, but that is where my thoughts left me, because it had to be someone who knew the house and the routines of the family well. They have both been cleared, so not any of the closest family members.
There seem to be so many leads in the case, but so far they have led nowhere.

What are your thoughts, Myster?

Good point
Boulder police tested about 200 DNA samples. The Ramsey's family have been cleared and many of their friends.
The problem is that most of the neighbors was not. Some quickly left Boulder right after the crime and had not been check out as of today.
We have new tools today to help solve this crime, If someone wants to call the Boulder police with information or support, they may say "We will do nothing". This type of action has kept this a cold case.

We have a profile that point to the killer, we will use DNA and other tools to help ID these people.
This case can be solve and we all so believe the killer has told some one about his crime. This person holds the information needed to break this case. So we need to give this person a safe way to come forward with a tip and not be ID.
This person my want to do the right thing now that time has gone by.

Why are we posting here? Because the internet is a open place, some one may read one post and do the right thing.

People around the world want to see this case solve and so do we.

Thank you for you post.

What are your thoughts, Myster?
From what little I've read and at first thinking that the parents were involved, either individually or together covering up for JonBenet's older brother, my current feeling is that maybe it was an intruder, but someone possibly known to the family and with knowledge of John Ramsey's $118,000 Christmas bonus too - not a rounded figure as one would expect.

What is hard to understand is why the killer would have spent so much time writing down a three page ransom note using a notepad and sharpie from the house with the risk of getting caught.
It's one of them cases, in'it... one of them f*ckin' cases.

Thank for the question.

Our profile predicts the killer travels on foot, bike and bus with a backpack. This means there is no place of oppperation. like a place to take JonBenet to or call on a phone.

The Ramsey's house is big, and it has four levels to hide in.

The Ramsey's family left the house on Christmas night at around 5:00 pm for a Christmas dinner they have done before, they fit a pattern.

An neighbor seen a six foot tall white male walk up to the butler door just after 5:00 pm and the family just left. The side of the house he walk up to was the butler service door and this door was found open and unlock by police.  This door is just steps from the warm and finish basement.
If you travel on foot, bike and bus, a warm place to stay would be nice.

The basement had every thing he would need as well as a phone to monitor any calls in or out. The basement set up was layout to monitor the rest of the house from the remodel windows that led to the upstairs for sound travel.

From 5:00 pm to the time the family came home he had 4 and 1/2 hours to look around and eat. set on a chair and take his time to plan and write the three page ransom note. It was very cold out in Boulder that night 7d.

The house had every thing he needs for this crime.

Our lab test show us that the killer took 30 minutes to print the ransom note from the middle of the note pad. He dog ear page one and place the note pad back on the counter next to the back steps. In the dark at night at the time of placement, he just fill for the dog ear page one and tears the pages out and places them on step three on the back step just before he goes to Jonbenet bedroom. The pages are kept flat and no finger prints for handleing them, they are stored next to the back step just into he need to place them. Simple setup.

Now by taking JonBenet down to the basement, he could monitor the family, keep her and him self hidden to the next step, the money drop.

The note said JonBenet was taken, who would look in a large basement for her. The writer said many time that the family must follow the direction to the letter or SHE DIES. Why he prints SHE DIES so many time is because he is hidden in the basement.  If the police are called, he will be found.

The family had the note in their hands and he was monitoring them from the basement. He could place the call to them by using the phone company number added to their and the phone would ring back in till they pick it up for instructions. But they call 911 and he was mad and the crime was over. He did as he printed many time in the ransom note, he killed Jonbenet.

He had seven minutes to leave the property, up the basement steps to the out of the view butler door down the dark alleyway into history.

At 10:00 as printed in the ransom note, a call came into the home and John said no one said a word for 30 second and hung up. Was this the killer letting John know as a pay back. the killer could hear other in the background at that time.

JonBenet was never to leave the home in this crime, a simple crime went wrong as plan when the family did not follow the direction to the letter.

Remember, he travel on foot, bike and bust. Hi-Tec walk shoe imprint was found next to Jonbenet body.

The person must have been in the house while the Ramseys were at the Christmas party - for hours maybe. I think he became bored waiting, and that is why the ransom note was so long. But then, why write the ransom note before the murder? If it was all planned, why hadn´t he written the note beforehand and not while in the house, which he obviously did? Or did he linger in the house for a long time after the murder?

This case drives you crazy, you are left with nothing but questions!

As a lab we must look at and test the crime scene. In this case, the crime scene and our profile predict he left at the time of the 911 call to police.  What happen to Jonbenet took hours that night. He had all night before the banks open and the family would find the ransom note to then get the money.

Staying in a warm and dry basement was his best choice when you travel on foot, bike and bus. Staying in a hotel and bring in a child would not be the best idea under these conditions

The three page ransom note was not long enough. Why would we think this. The killer had only one chance to get the point across to the family not to call police.  This is his one and only time chance to instruct them, the note must be long for it to work. If the ransom note was short like most then they may call police and all of the work and travel was lost. They must not call for help for this simple crime to work. He must many times in the ransom note prints SHE DIES. This would make the ransom note longer than crimes that the killer is not hidden in the family home.

He must impress the family with his printing and not to call police, It did not work and he killed Jonbenet.

A special clue printer in the ransom note.

The ransom note:

Ransom Note:

1. "Mr. Ramsey.
2. Listen carefully! We are a group of individuals that represent
3. a small foreign faction. We xx respect your bussiness
4. but not the country that it serves. At this time we have
5. your daughter in our posession. She is safe and unharmed and
6. if you want her to see 1997, you must follow our instructions to
7. the letter.
8. You will withdraw $118,000.00 from your account.$100,000 will be
9. in $100 bills and the remaining $18,000 in $20 bills. Make sure
10. that you bring an adequate size attache to the bank. When you get
11. home you will put the money in a brown paper bag. I will call you
12. between 8 and 10 am tomorrow to instruct you on delivery. The
13. delivery will be exhausting so I advise you to be rested. If we
14. monitor you getting the money early, we might call you early to
15. arrange an earlier delivery of the money and hence a earlier
16. delivery pickup of your daughter.
17. Any deviation of my instructions will result in the immediate
18. execution of your daughter. You will also be denied her remains
19. for proper burial. The two gentlemen watching over your daughter
20. do not particularly like you so I advise you not to provoke them.
21. Speaking to anyone about your situation, such as Police, F.B.I.,
22. etc., will result in your daughter being beheaded. If we catch you
23. talking to a stray dog, she dies. If you alert bank authorities, she
24. dies. If the money is in any way marked or tampered with, she dies.
25. You will be scanned for electronic devices and if any are found, she
26. dies. You can try to deceive us but be warned that we are familiar
27. with Law enforcement countermeasures and tactics. You stand a 99%
28. chance of killing your daughter if you try to out smart us. Follow
29. our instructions and you stand a 100% chance of getting her back.
30. You and your family are under constant scrutiny as well as the
31. authorities. Don't try to grow a brain John. You are not the only
32. fat cat around so don't think that killing will be difficult. Don't
33. underestimate us John. Use that good southern common sense of yours.
34. It is up to you now John!
35. Victory!
36. S.B.T.C"

This line in the ransom note:
"If we catch you talking to a stray dog, she dies." and "When you get
home you will put the money in a brown paper bag."
What does this mean?

Our lab produce a profile from this ransom note and the crime scene.
Here is a overview of what we found.

Our profile predict that the killer has a hiking and trail guild background. He may be a rock climber and instructor. He like to drawl with a Sharpie markers and drawl on a note pad or what is called a sketchbook. He drawls his travel on the ground and high up in the trails. As a climber, he knows how to tie a knot, When it is cold out, he can protect his hands with finger less wool gloves. The cut end will shed dark fibers just like the crime scene. He keep his pulleys on a carabiner and uses this tool on his climbs with wires in a knot. Because he travels on foot, bike and bus, he travel light with only a back pack and some supplies. A compact tent that uses 96 inch white cords to hold it up. This is the same type of cord use in this crime. Cut it in two and it match the crime scene. He learn that tucking the two white blankets close to him at night keep him warm. He travel with a black color stun gun for safety  and when it drop and breaks on a rock, he uses black duct tape to fix it, the side is the same as used on Jonbenet mouth. He is good with ropes and knots and he is fearless, hanging high off the ground as he climb high held up with just a cord and a nail. When you are fearless as a rock climber, then being in a house at night for a simple crime is just plan simple, because his life hang on a string and a nail this crime would be no problem. He enjoy fear. Climbing at night has a need for light, to free his hands, he used a head mounted light, The neighbor seen odd flashes of light in the kitchen at midnight.
Camping out side can be cold for him so if he get a chance to say free in a heated basement, he will spend as much time as he can down there. He all ways pays with $20 so they can keep the tip. No Change to carrie.
He has learn that when you hike in a park, you need to bring brown paper bags, the parks want you to collect your human waste and put it into a brown paper bag and then place inside your back pack in till you leave the park, He is good at not leaving a trail that he was there.

Now the ransom note, As a park ranger trail guild instructor, he knows that if you walk a dog, you must keep this dog on the approve trails, if you don't, you may be fined. So there is a name for the park ranger that look for stray dogs, You don't want to get caught talking to a DOGGY POLICE looking for a stray dog. Remember, hikers, and climbers wear Hi-Tec shoes as seen in a foot print at the crime scene.

The ransom note printed that the money shall be place into a brown paper bag. This bag is then place into the backpack. Every one know that brown paper bag stored in the bottom of a back pack is HUMAN WASTE.
If you was to travel with $118,000.00 in you back pack, you may want it to be in what look to be a bag of human waste. If you was to be stop by the police, your chance are lessen that they will look in these bags.
This is how our profile of the killer is.
The killer is a artist and shows this by painting a green strip on JonBenet chin. The tube of paint came from the paint tote that was next to the wine cellar door. This is the place that JonBenet wet her paints.
Read the ransom note above and this my help you understand the writer.
Next to this paint tote on the carpet what looks like a black marker drawing of a cat. Was this a clue left by the killer. The killer took time to drawl JonBenet in the basement that long night. The crime scene support this a fact.

talking to a stray dog, she dies.

As a rock climbing trail guild instructor, he would say to his climbers, The delivery will be exhausting so I advise you to be rested.

Ok The question is Who is the killer, In Time.

The note is real.
They called 911 and the killer did as he printed.
Left the basement, out the butler door , dome the side yard to the back alley.

The brown paper bag was to keep the money in his back pack as he left Boulder.

The note took 20 to 30 minutes to print, he let the water base , out of production marker in a orange can in the kitchen because he know how the police will work, as stated in the note.

He dog leg the bottom left corner of page one as he moved around the house that night. Page three, he use a second marker and the thickness of the ink is 50% wider.

He paint with green paint and left a green strip on JonBenet chin. It match the tub of paint in the paint tote next to where JB was tied up.

Yes it was a IDI that did this.

The note paper was from page 27 28 29 from the note pad, very flat pages.

The killer is right handed.

A bike track was found in the snow on 15 street.

Profile

He travel on foot bike bus so taking JB was never part he crime. Stay in the basement is a good plan when the note said she was taken from the home.

He is on foot, he has no place to take any one. He was not from there so he could print the note with out any fear of his writing being recognize.

The plan went wrong when the police was called and he did as printed. Killed JB. and left mad.

The ransom note was so long because he had one chance to make it work if they did not call police. He used She will die many time because the plan need the family to weight for instruction and put the money in a brown paper bag. JB was in the basement with him. He could monitor the house from one room by the back stairs. Window open you call monitor the house.

Three pages ransom note took 30 minutes to print before the crime.
The killer has MS it was just starting and he would have to take two weeks off work after the crime, Cause Heat and stress. Starts MS in most people at age 30. male.

Zoom the note 300% and you will see the lines of MS printing.

This case may be solved soon.

No thanks to Boulder Police,

Profile:

The killer has a rock climbing background,
Up high, hanging on ropes thousand of feet from the ground is fearless.
Using cords, special knot tying, Hi-Tec boots, finger wool gloves are tool of the trade.

He a painter, sketchbook, sharpie marker person, so note pad are every day uses.

The killer broke the paint stick at two ends leaving the 5 inch middle stick the same size as the sharpie marker he is use to in his hands.
Person of habbit.

Printing the note with his water base marker and leaving it in the orange can in the kitchen un the phone will frame the family as he said he know how police work. The marker was out of production for many years, water base ink is safe for art work as he does.

Yes JB had green paint on her chin and it matches the tube in the paint tote.

The carabiner mark on the cellar floor was use in the crime and is the killer key change. He has a pulley connecter to it as well used with cords.

Yes it was a IDI.
