Yes it was just innocent dad with his Gerry face & trousers, that's what you believe. An unfortunate coincidence & nothing more. Wolters can prove it. Just not any time in the foreseeable future.
I know it amuses you to keep writing the same thing over and over again but it is a bit goady and childish.  How about behaving and debating like an adult for a change? It's not just me who believes Gerry McCann was sat at the table at the time of the Smithman sighting and I don't think homicide detectives tend to be gullible morons on the whole.  I think like me that they would be sceptical about the accuracy of any eye witness that took 3 weeks to come forward with information about a man they saw fleetingly in a darkened street, and even more sceptical of information that they added to their witness statement 4 months later, as if their memory had miraculously improved over the months.

thing is we don't know what we would do in that situation do we.

Well you seem to know exactly what you would do...and what kmc did.

Can you explain ...how you know what kmc did.... or is it just what you think she did..

Kate thought she might be cowering afraid of whoever came into the apartment.

Where would she have been cowering fgs...in the few seconds it took for kmc to enter apartment

Kate ran out in complete hysterics.

Did she ...she would have been better off screaming from patio and staying with twins.

Yes Kate searched very quickly there weren't many rooms to search and she was frantically searching.  As I said in my last post if I had left my child asleep in her bed and came back to find her gone and the window open I would immediately think she had been abducted.

10 minutes isn't very quickly ..is it.. and wouldn't you close the bedroom window that was wide open...seems the frantically searching didn't wake up the twins.

Why did she leave it open......it was closed when the police arrived.

You say they knew where Madeleine is but you don't explain why.

No ...I say ...the mccs know what happened to Maddie.

You need to put yourself in Kates position as you need to see both sides of the argument.

What argument ...for me there isn't one .... Just like  there was no abduction either.

Have you read the Police files?  The statements?  You need to as you don't seem to know what Kate did when she went to the apartment.

Madeleine could have ran away into the other bedroom or into the kitchen  from whoever came into the bedroom, then Kate frightened him off.

Would they have heard her screaming form the apartment?   You say she would have been better off.  You know do you?  You know what she should have done. It's all very well saying she would have been better off  Kate did what she thought was best running to get help.

Ten minutes is quite a long time to be searching the apartment it was small.  Kate would have left if the wind hadn't have slammed the door shut.  I have said before you don't act normally when you are in a state of shock.

No abduction, ok.  What happened then?

Iknow all there is to know about this case since 2007...ye read the conflicting state ments several times.

Your the one who seems to know everything what kmc did and thought.

Ten miniutes is a very long time considering she knew maddie wasnt there because of the open window.

It would have only took a couple of miniutes so what was she doing.

Ye the door slamed shut ....the curtains blowing becaus of the wind .....so why didnt she shut that window....

Why when the twins were left again in that room

Even though you know your child was taken you still search the apartment just in case.  Ten minutes to walk to the apartment find Madeleine missing then search.  Blind panic made her run out of the apartment.  Can't you understand that?

The abductor had gone the twins were asleep.  Kate ran to alert the others.

You say you know all there is to know about this case.  So tell me what happened do you think Kate is lying and that she found Madeleine dead?  If so where did she hide her?   If you think Gerry did something when did he do it?  He was laughing and joking before Madeleine was found missing so not before dinner.  After dinner?  so did he risk running off with Madeleine when there were people out and about.  A search party was outside the Tapas Bar so did he run past them?  Please tell me what you think as you say you know all there is to know about this case yet still just quote the same old thing over and over.

I reckon Kizzy?s too shrewd to answer those questions as she knows it would only reveal how completely implausible any such scenario of parental involvement would be.  We?ve seen recently on this thread how others have tried and failed to make sense of it.  It?s far easier to cast vague aspersions that way no one can point out the flaws in your argument.

There is no way Kate spent 10 minutes searching the apartment.  According to her book it was a couple of minutes at most before she ran out to raise the alarm

But she never bothered to alert the police. She didn't even bother try or ask anyone else to either. It was nearly an hour before Gerry bothered to turn up at reception & ask them. Even though they knew Immediately, according to them, that this was an abduction. It doesn?t make any sense for them to search as if looking for a child who wandered off when the open window proved that Madeleine was abducted. If you don't find that behaviour suspicious you are a total idiot.

Ok well just let me know when the expert Homicide detectives prove the McCanns didn't do it. It shouldn't be much longer now.

And whatever Kate says in her book is the gospel truth isn't it. That's how the police were able to rule out the McCanns. They just read Kates book & that was enough for them.

Why do you think they were allegedly stalling to contact the police?  Given that they were apparently stalling  an abduction they would presumably be expecting to have to call the police to tell them their child had been kidnapped, that would have been an integral part of the plan.  Why wouldn?t Gerry run straight to reception after successfully dumping the body to say ?call the police now please?.  After all, you have him collecting the body dumping it and back at the OC in under 10 minutes.

Again, if you?re staging an abduction and you know your kid is lying under a bush somewhere else why wait 10 minutes after going to do your check?  And why would she lie about the length of time she spent checking the apartment, what possible advantage does that give her?

What exactly did the Tapas seven mean when they said they took turns to 'check on their children', Vertigo?
What exactly did these checks consist of if not to simply check that their children were actually still there?
I'm talking about the Matt check at 9.30, when he didn't actually look to see if Maddie was in bed, so what exactly 'did' he check? What was his purpose for entering the flat at all? Or have I picked this up wrong?
And what about Kate at 10.00? Wasn't the only reason she looked to see if Maddie was there was because the bedroom door slammed shut? Is this true?
Can you explain, Vertigo?

I think when children are abducted it's best to leave it at least forty minutes before reporting the matter to the police. Give the abductor a nice head start. That was quite nice of the McCanns really. Give the predatory paedophile a bit more time with their precious daughter before worrying about being caught. How kind. What nice people. I take back every bad word I ever said about them.
