You say you know all there is to know about this case.  So tell me what happened do you think Kate is lying and that she found Madeleine dead?  If so where did she hide her?   If you think Gerry did something when did he do it?  He was laughing and joking before Madeleine was found missing so not before dinner.  After dinner?  so did he risk running off with Madeleine when there were people out and about.  A search party was outside the Tapas Bar so did he run past them?  Please tell me what you think as you say you know all there is to know about this case yet still just quote the same old thing over and over.

So why didn't kmc close that window......that's if it was ever open in the first place.

I reckon Kizzy?s too shrewd to answer those questions as she knows it would only reveal how completely implausible any such scenario of parental involvement would be.  We?ve seen recently on this thread how others have tried and failed to make sense of it.  It?s far easier to cast vague aspersions that way no one can point out the flaws in your argument.

There is no way Kate spent 10 minutes searching the apartment.  According to her book it was a couple of minutes at most before she ran out to raise the alarm

What exactly did the Tapas seven mean when they said they took turns to 'check on their children', Vertigo?
What exactly did these checks consist of if not to simply check that their children were actually still there?
I'm talking about the Matt check at 9.30, when he didn't actually look to see if Maddie was in bed, so what exactly 'did' he check? What was his purpose for entering the flat at all? Or have I picked this up wrong?
And what about Kate at 10.00? Wasn't the only reason she looked to see if Maddie was there was because the bedroom door slammed shut? Is this true?

On Gerry's check, he only looked in because the door had moved. On kates check, she only looks in because the door had moved also.  Apparently, even though they'd been doing the same all week with nothing to alarm them, on the night of the 3rd, the door moved several times. VS thinks it was the wind but the McCanns never mentioned any gusts of wind & so maybe a ghost did it. We can safely rule out an abductor moving the door around though because Madeleine wasn't abducted.

Why do you think they were allegedly stalling to contact the police?  Given that they were apparently stalling  an abduction they would presumably be expecting to have to call the police to tell them their child had been kidnapped, that would have been an integral part of the plan.  Why wouldn?t Gerry run straight to reception after successfully dumping the body to say ?call the police now please?.  After all, you have him collecting the body dumping it and back at the OC in under 10 minutes.

I don't know for sure. You'll have to ask them but they'd probably just lie about it Anyway.

Well if theres no evidence he ever set foot in 5a then it's a bit of a mental leap to believe he went in there and took Madeleine out of it really. Him allegedly boasting to his mates some years later that he abducted the worlds most famous missing person is more than bit flimsy to really isn't it. It's no wonder he hasn't been charged. But we do know that that there's an abundance of evidence that the McCanns most definitely DID enter apartment 5a that night. So it's more likely they did it really.

I think the problem here is that most sane people wouldn?t believe the claims of an alcohol addled, people trafficker and serial criminal therefore those claims are never going to cut the mustard, evidence wise.

So, what the parents meant by a check was entering their apartments and if the children [and babies?] weren't actually running about all over the place then they had to be fast asleep in their beds?
So no actual physical check was needed? Is that right, Spam? Is that how it worked, was that the accepted process by all the parents?
