Sigh.  I proved to you once and for all Gerry could not have been seen by the Smiths back in September last year on this very forum, so your whole premise is based on a complete falsehood.  You really must try harder to come up with a plausible and logical account of how the McCanns dunnit.

You may have proved your scenario to your own satisfaction however that is not the same as actually proving it.

They have come up with an abductor.  CB.  He fits the criteria.  The problem they have is its a cold case from 2007.  DNA would have disappeared.  How many coincidences are there -

He matches the  man staring at 5a.  He was seen a few times staring at the property.  He was described perfectly from his acned face to his black leather jacket.

He actually worked in the Tapas Bar and did jobs around the apartments where the McCann's stayed, so he would know his way around the establishment.

He is a Paedophile.

He burgled many apartments.

He was known to the drug world, so would know very unpleasant people.

Video's were found showing abuse against children on his property.

Stories were found where he described abducting a blonde haired little girl.  This alone is enough to prove to me is the abductor.

So apart from the blowing curtains the moving door { which I have explained].  What do you have to convince me it was the McCann's who hid their daughter Madeleine.

I think you should start looking again .........why you think C.B. abducted Maddie.

From Bernt:

Wolters fell for OpG story about "the last man standing" (has to be the one), and thought by going out hard and playing a psychological game on CB and FF, that they'd plea for a deal just because a phone CB had used was located in town (not the OC) at the time of the faked abduction.

Sadly for the silly Germans who hadn't read a single page of the police files, they got to a point of no return very quickly by going out in public claiming and PRETENDING that they had "concrete evidence". It was all lies due to a strategy of making CB crack. Wolters two female bosses were convinced CB was guilty, with zero knowledge about the content of the PJ files. These three people are incompetent beyond words, and tried something very un-German (!) because they got blinded by the possibility of becoming famous. They are now world famous for being incompetent clowns.

Sadly for the German's they had possibly watched too many US movies thinking the "resort" was Ocean Club, rather than the resort of Praia da Luz, which we heard on Saunokonokos podcast dawned on Walters, as he asked to talk to his translator in the middle of the interview. Saunokonoko asked him if the Ocean Club had a mobile antenna, and right then he knew he'd f'd up.

I didn?t prove a scenario, I proved that the alarm was not raised at 10.15pm, which was YOUR scenario.
For your scenario to be correct you need to
1) disregard every single other witness statement given that night regarding the time the alarm was raised  (we?re talking at least a couple of dozen here from creche staff, waiters, manager, tapas group, etc)
2) Only believe one witness statement was correct - that of the man you believe is guilty, ie Gerry.
3) That  the only thing Gerry didn?t lie about was the one thing that completely destroyed his own alibi for the Smith sighting.
4) that every single member of the Tapas group lied by omission, having failed to mention that Gerry left the table twice that night.
5) that the police having reviewed all this evidence holistically, including Gerry?s statement re the 10.15pm alarm came to the wrong conclusion about when it was actually raised , and that your powers of deduction are superior to theirs.

Absolutely bloody barmy when you actually engage brain and think about it, isn?t it?

How's your main man HCW doing these days - has he told the world yet of the concrete evidence he has on C.B.

Seems C.B. has been given council property.

Ex British Diplomat Craig Murray Speaks On The McCanns

I am going to come straight out with this. British diplomatic staff were under direct instruction to support the McCanns far beyond the usual and to put pressure on the Portuguese authorities over the case. I have direct information that more than one of those diplomatic staff found the McCanns less than convincing and their stories inconsistent. Embassy staff were perturbed to be ordered that British authorities were to be present at every contact between the McCanns and Portuguese police.

The timings of the witnesses were all over the place and, using their timings, the alleged abduction could have been anywhere from 9.30 to nearly an hour later.

I think Diane Webster was the only member of the tapas group to be completely honest. She did not recall Gerry being at the table when she and her family arrived around 9. We are told that the chat with Jez Wilkins was between 8.45 and 9.15. Therefore it is absolutely feasible that Gerry had his chat with Wilkins around 9. Mrs Webster said that the couples only checked their own children. Could the man who left the table at 9.30 be Gerry? Did he discover Madeleine missing at that time. We certainly have a witness who remembers what she thought was Madeleine?s name being softly spoken.

Of course the cherry on the cake is the sighting of Gerry by Martin Smith and his wife or are we simply to believe every other witness apart from them?

Craig Murray never published his ?sauces? just made wild unsubstantiated allegations afaik.
As for HCW, he has yet to be demoted to traffic cop, or rolled in tar and feathered as far as I know, and the investigation into CB is ongoing which is why presumably there has been no pubilcation regarding all the evidence held on him.

You seem to have avoided some of my points all together but let?s concentrate on this one point for now shall we?  Why do you only believe Gerry (a man you also believe to be a liar), a to the exclusion of all the other witnesses?  Please explain your logic on this first, before we move on to the other points.

Why would someone of the calibre of Craig Murray make claims that could be easily discredited? What would he have to gain?

Did Gerry say that Kate returned to the table in the tapas bar and raised the alarm at 10.13-10.15?

Shouldn?t Gerry be a witness of truth?

Could you answer my question please?  To remind you of your position - you believe Gerry is a liar but of all the many, many accounts that night that led to the police concluding that the alarm was raised at around 10pm you only believe Gerry?s account which puts it at a time that destroys his own alibi.  Now, why is that I wonder, when not one single other witness puts it that late?  Why are you seemingly prepared to accept that everyone else is either lying or mistaken but only Gerry?s word should be accepted on this one occasion?  Explain the logic.  I mean, I already know the answer of course but I?d like to hear you try and justify it.

Shoe-horning his sensationalist two pennyworth into a world famous case, probably for a wodge of cash, isn?t that your usual explanation for anyone whose views are solicited by the media who you don?t agree with?

Do I believe that all crimes are solvable within a limited timeframe. Of course not. Do I believe that a suspect will evade justice if they are not investigated thoroughly, absolutely.

As to the parents. Gerry was not at two places at the one time. By his own witness statement there was time for him to be seen by the Smiths and be back in the tapas bar by the time of the alarm. He was seen by the Smiths at around 10pm and the alarm raised around 10.15 ( by Gerry?s statement ). PDL is a very small village and the distance Gerry would have to have covered is absolutely feasible.

The parent?s attitude to the Smith sighting and their lack of interest in it is also very telling.

Of course incompetence on the part of the Portuguese police played a part if the body was deposited in a bin. Gerry didn?t know that the bins were emptied at a certain time every morning but the police did?and yes there was an element of luck on Gerry?s part but that does not rule it out as happening.

Further if the body had been found and they had found drugs in Madeleine?s system the abductor of course could have been blamed. Gerry needed distance from the body not for the body not to be found.

The body might never have been recovered as the landfill site where it would have been deposited was never searched. You can?t find what you are not looking for.

You mused that charges being brought after a lengthy investigation does not make the suspect innocent?absolutely. Neither does a short investigation.

Faith when was Gerry supposed to have dumped Madeleine's body in a bin?
